Serves meat, vegan options available. Small local warung that offers mainly Indonesian dishes, including fresh juices and smoothies, but also raw sushi rolls, soups and raw chocolate balls. All dishes have a vegan option, with jackfruit, tempeh and tofu used as ingredients. Red rice and coconut oil are used. The owner understands the principles of vegan foods and also offers vegan cooking classes. Open Mon 1:00pm-10:00pm, Tue-Wed 1:00pm-6:00pm, Thu 12:00pm-6:00pm, Fri-Sun 1:00pm-6:00pm.

Jackfruit Curry!

Puspa's warung is a traditional style Balinese eatery offering MSG free vegan and raw vegan options.
Although the place itself is not vegan, the extremely kind owner, Puspa clearly understands the vegan principles and uses separate cookware to prepare the non-veg dishes.

I'd highly recommend trying their famous jackfruit curry that they serve with red rice, the meat experience is 10/10 on that one, it's like eating chicken and the curry itself is very flavorful, rich.

For others being interested in the local cuisine, there's Gado Gado, Satay and Nasi Campur being served, all vegan of course. I'd give five stars, but HC won't let me as the restaurant is not fully veg.
