Best Vegan Italian food

I’ll drive the 25 min for this cus it’s so dam good! It’s decadent, delicious and super rich in flavor...omg! Bomb!!!
I ordered Cacio e Pepe, the cauliflower chickpea parmigiana OMG my fave, the potato wedges are delicious and great appetizer. I’ve also tried the black magic lasagna , it was creamy, rich and luxurious!!

Pros: It’s all vegan , The staff is friendly! , They support BLM

The best vegan Italian food in the world.

Title says it all. This place is the BEST. If you thought you’d never be able to have rich, cheesy, gooey Italian food anymore as a vegan, think again.

The OG spot serves beautiful plant based pasta dishes, antipasti, soups, and more. They also recently opened their pizzeria, which is equally insane (in a good way).

If it’s your first time, get the baked ricotta and one of the lasagnas (I love the black magic).

Pros: Insanely delicious food, Date-night ambiance , Authentic Italian, but make it cruelty-free

Cons: Expensive, Parking can be challenging

Fantastic pizza

Got two pizzas the weekend they opened. The black magic (gluten free crust) and padrino (regular crust). The gluten free crust was amazing, couldn’t tell it was GF. Actually liked it more than the regular crust. The black magic pizza was excellent, padrino was just good.

Pros: All vegan, GF crust is great

Cons: Pricey

Scrumptious

Friend took me here for bday dinner and yum yum yum! Glad to try the excellent cauliflower/chickpea parmesan before everything closed down for Covid. Can't wait to get back and spread this to more vegans

Pros: Tiramisu tastes like tiramisu, Delicious pasta and parmesan

Cons: Upscale, Hipster LA crowd

Just ok

We were really hoping that the food would match the prices. I expected better food for these prices. The bruschetta was soggy and had no balsamic and the special was a baked Alfredo that was ok, but really salty! Service was sub par.

Excellent Vegan Italian

Delicious, hearty vegan Italian cuisine in the heart of WeHo. Beautiful Italian wine bar setting but need not imbibe to enjoy the tasty fare.

He loved the breaded chickpea cutlet with vegan mozzarella and I loved the kale Caesar with my favorite Swiss chard and butter bean dish. A must on your tour of LA vegan spots!

Pros: Organic , Amazing vegetables , Flavorful, hearty dishes

Cons: Don’t serve soup on Sundays until late afternoon

So much fun and gfo!

I love this place in WeHo. It’s menu is really authentic Italian but way better because it’s California-ized and made VEGANO! Lots of gluten free options which is rare for a pasta and bread-heavy joint. Extensive wine selection. I can’t resist a Ceasar salad so I had that and the Fritatta. The Ceasar was good and the latter was creative. The shiitake bacon is notable. Bring your omnivorous friends.

Pros: Gfo, Authentic Italian menu

A must for vegans and non vegans

The food is so delicious and there are a lot of Gluten Free options!.
I have to say you don't compromise flavor or texture when you orden gluten free here.
We ordered the recommended dishes and they were all delicious!

Parking in the neighborhood is not difficult.
Price is a bit expensive but the dishes are big and the quality of the food and flavors make it worth it.
Not a lot of tables but they also have a bar were you can eat, I would suggest to make a reservation if you want to secure your place.
Nice ambiance for a date.

Pros: Lots of gf options

Fantastic, definitely recommend going here

I absolutely loved this restaurant. I got the Baked Ricotta and Lasagna Pura, and both were incredible. The bread with the ricotta was perfectly fluffy and crispy. I also got the salted caramel gelato, which was quite good.

I will certainly try to come back here the next time I am in Los Angeles, would recommend this place to anyone!

Pros: All vegan, Cheeses are fantastic

Worth Every Penny

I got to try a variety of dishes during my visit, including caprese, lasagna, soup, potato wedges, and cake dessert. Almost everything was exceptional with memorable taste and quality ingredients. The Caprese was a standout to me with the delicious balsamic vinegar, as well as the garlic parmigiano potato wedges. I look forward to going back and trying more.

Pros: Quality ingredients, Extensive Italian Menu, Purely Vegan

Cons: Parking, Cost of food , Limited seating

Mouthwatering

We shared 4 dishes between 2 of us and that was the perfect amount. Baked ricotta, grilled tofu, and Nutella crostini (from brunch menu) were all so darn delicious!

Pros: Cool vibe, Rich flavor, Unique dishes

Delicious food and great atmosphere

I went for Brunch and had an delicious meal. You cannot skip the garlic potato wedges (incredible). The Nutella pancakes are good, although the pancake itself is a little dry, just means you should add syrup. My friend got the croissant sandwich which was huge. Suggestion for brunch to put croissants and jam/Nutella as an appetizer, vegan croissants are hard to find and this was super yummy. The dessert menu looks amazing and will go back later or tomorrow to try.

Pros: Full vegan menu, good portion sizes, Staff was friendly and met the chef who was nice, Good location in West Hollywood.

Cons: Can be crowded so make a reservation, Street parking, So full, no room for dessert. :)

Disappointed

As an Italian vegan, I was really looking forward to this spot for awhile. Unfortunately the food was overpriced, very bland and served by a waiter who, despite my friendly smiles, seemed upset with the whole world. The cheesy potato app was fine.

New LA Favorite!!

I absolutely love this place. I went with friends and we tried a broad swath of the menu. 5 appetizers and 4 entrees.

The Black Magic Lasagna is so delightful, but the real stars of the show are the Caprese Salad and the Carbonara! They are out of this world! Great spot for a date night. Just not too often. It’s a little pricy.

Reservations a must.

Pros: Flavor explosion, Chef obviously sold soul to cook so well

Cons: Too pricy to go as often as I’d like :)
