Ramen and potatos - Edit
I got the ramen and mashed potatoes and brownie. The ramen was definitely more like pho, in fact it was basically pho. But it was super delicious. The mashed potatoes were good too. The brownie was not good. Didn’t eat it. Super dry and not good.

I ordered the pumpkin and beetroot toast. Given the name of the restaurant, I thought it would be a safe pick. The pumpkin chickpea hummus was good. The avocado on the beetroot hummus was underripe and watery. The “sourdough” bread seemed like thinly sliced processed sandwich bread. It was so soggy I had to eat it with a fork and knife.

Really pleased with how fresh the food is at P&B. I ordered nachos which are not usually what I would call a fresh food, but these were done with lentils and veggies with a cashew cream and a tofu feta. They were very tasty and light to eat. Well seasoned too. Perfect for a hot day.

Extraordinary that restaurant is only two blocks from my hotel. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Food excellent. I had their Hungarian goulash. Loved it. Includes mashed potatoes which is a real comfort food. Lemon tea great. Plan to eat there often over next two weeks.

The food was great a Pumpkin & Beetroot, really healthy and filling. We had a raw vegan nacho bowl, plate of dips and bread and a tofu dish. Only strange thing was there was no rice with the hot dishes, only mashed potatoes but my daughter was able to switch the potato out for rice on request. The food is very reasonably priced and the cafe is nicely decorated. The only downside is that it is on an incredibly busy intersection, where scooters need to rev up to get up the hill. We found it so noisy that it killed conversation and we hurried our meal to get away from it.

Decent food for a good price, all vegan. Main issue with the place is its exposure to a busy T-intersection. The traffic in Central Ubud can get busy, and it is noisy.

We ordered takeaway and the food was nevertheless super fresh and nicely presented. I really liked the protein bowl but the marinated starter was my highlight, even after being vegan for 20 years I didn't know that tofu can taste so good!

Read moreI really liked the mushroom & avocado toast, the protein quinoa salad (they were out of red onion and switched it to red cabbage, which I actually liked better) that had a nice vegan ranch dressing. The rice paper rolls were good for a light lunch/snack, the peanut sauce was the main reason they were yummy (I don’t think they’d be worth it if you can’t eat peanuts). For drinks, the tropical lush juice was delicious and I would definitely get that one again… the plain pineapple juice I had tasted a bit watered down so it wasn’t as tasty.
By the way, they told me they’re now entirely vegan and the egg noodles are now all rice noodles!

We liked watching the busy traffic goings on at the T intersection out front of the restaurant. I had a burrito & my partner had teriyaki tofu & mashed potato. We had chocolate brownies & Kombucha, & both really enjoyed our meals. Staff are attentive & friendly.
