Oh his place is amazing. The food is prepared in front of you and with local ingredients. I had the wanderlust sandwich and went back for it on the same trip. It’s all vegan and they have yummy deserts.

Great sandwich and cookie

Very clean place with indoor and outdoor seating. The place looks amazing, the staff was amazing and the food was amazing. Had an ALT sandwich that was very delicious, followed by a chocolate chip cookie. I will be back to try one of the several smoothies. Might go with the grown-up PB&J.

Pros: Entire place is vegan!

Super cute place!

All vegan and 100% organic. Staff was friendly, great juices if you’re into juices. Wish they’d expand the food menu a little to accommodate those who aren’t into juices much. However, you can trust that they have a very good avo toast!

Tasty

The ALT sandwich on gluten free bread is seasoned so well, so tasty. Salad was somewhat simple. A full meal w drink/dessert here starts to get pretty pricey considering the portion size although the salad was fairly large. I could eat more than one ALT easily but wouldn’t be practical price wise. Service is great, friendly and knowledgeable. They will make an effort to help you choose a meal and explain what is available.

Pros: Great options , Desserts, Good service

Cons: Portion size , Expensive , Limited hours

Nice and Heathy

We enjoyed our meal here. It was fresh, vegan, organic and tastey.

I don't think we were charged for GF bread which was nice.

$12 ATL w GF bread: good flavor balance, nice texture with the bread, would get again

$10 Mean Green Sandwich: good, but not a lot of flavor.

$7.95 Chocolate Bliss Smoothie: Really nice smoothie, rich and creamy and healthy. We like that it was sweetened with dates.

They were short staffed, so we had to wait 20 min for our to go order. They gave us a complimentary chocolate bite.

Chocolate bite: quite good. It was very rich and chocolatey and a little bitter.

Restrooms: one restroom, non gendered, nice size, clean, no baby changing station.

Overall we really liked this restaurant. The smoothies were a really good price. The sandwiches we felt were a bit overpriced for just the plain type of sandwich. We were happy to leave feeling good with healthy food. We would like to see more options.

Pros: All vegan and organic , Good price on smoothies

Cons: Sandwiches were a bit expensive

Great casual vegan cafe!

We love this cafe!!! Soups, sandwiches, juices and smoothies are all exceptionally good and reasonably priced. Since I’m normally only in Asheville on the weekend, really Wish they were open on Sunday - but I respect that they honor a day of rest.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Hold me back!

This is a place I could visit daily and drop some serious cash. Everything is so delicious. I love the Mangum smoothie bowl and the maca pb cup bowl. Their smoothie bowls are packed full of goodies. The granola alone deserves 5 stars. It's incredible.

The establishment is clean and neat. I love the decor and how bright it is. This is a place I feel good visiting. Good food and good people. I wish I had tried it sooner.

Pros: Granola!, DELICIOUS

Cons: Parking

So good!

My husband and I came here twice during our stay in Asheville. All of the cashew milks are incredible, especially the cocoa! They also have a variety of desserts that are just incredible. Atmosphere and people are wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Vegan restaurant

Cons: Pricey, but worth it

Fresh and light!

Highly recommended for fresh juices, snacks and a light meal! Elements is a clean, spacious cafe with cold-pressed juices, smoothie bowls, and a simple but delicious food menu. We tried the A.L.T. sandwich (avocado/lettuce/tomato), soup of the day (sweet potato dahl), and avocado toast. They were so fresh and delicious.

Clean food, 100% vegan

I do enjoy what I have ordered from Elements. But I would love it if they would expand their menu a bit. It's really limited. They also stopped offering their spring rolls, which were my favorite :( Otherwise, the place is clean, but lacking in warmth... it's kind of minimalist in design which I can appreciate... I just don't really feel like I want to spend a lot of time there--it's cold and somewhat loud. There are lots of raw options which is great since I think it's the only place in town that offers such but the portions are tiny (esp for the cost). The smoothies are pretty good, tho a bit heavy on the nut butters. Their juices are very good.

Pros: raw vegan restaurant food--hard to find elsewhere!, beautiful presentations, nutrients abound!

Cons: pricey, small portions, limited menu (for solid food)

Delicious smoothies and bowls

I went here twice during my short stay in Asheville, once for an Acai bowl and later for a smoothie, both of which were very good!

Gluten Free Diners BEWARE!

This place claims to have gluten free (GF) options, but they are not acceptable for those very sensitive (Celiacs and those who are highly sensitive/allergic). I placed my order and explained that I needed GF. I was told that the sandwiches would be GF. I got my food to go and asked if they made their own bread because everything seemed homemade. They said they used Sami's. After I left with my food, I checked out the website to see where I could purchase some bread because it looked delicious. When I got to the website I was horrified to read that the bread specifically says it is NOT GF and contains gluten. I called the place and spoke to a manager to make sure there was not a mistake and one of the owners got on the phone and proceeded to lecture me on Celiac disease (which I have) and how rare it is. She never apologized, but instead told me that I was the problem because I didn't ask the right questions. She didn't care that her GF bread wasn't actually GF and said that other Celiacs eat it and have been ok. I explained that Celiac is a serious disease and that customers should be informed that their GF options aren't truly GF. I also reminded her that there was not a note anywhere in the restaurant that indicated this and the person I ordered from did not mention this. The owner also explained that they knowingly contaminate their "gluten free" products by sharing the panini press with gluten and no barrier for protection, which I also was not informed about when ordering. I was not offered my money back and the female owner seemed quite upset that I had interrupted her day.

I emailed the owners and explained my concerns and asked for my money back for the two sandwiches ($18 for a panini and a open faced sandwich!) I ordered. What I got back was a defensive and rude email from the male owner saying that I had taken the GF issue too far (contacting the owners is taking it too far?!?! They jeopardized my health, but an email is too much??). They also asked me not to buy their products again, which I didn't plan on doing because of their carelessness.

Through all of this there was no apology that they carry knowingly do not have GF options, but say that they do. They also had no concern that I could have gotten sick if I would have eaten the food. I approached them in a calm and honest manner and hey put their egos above my health.

Pros: They are vegan

love the ALT

This is a very spacious juice and smoothie bar with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the avocado lettuce tomato (ALT), which was very tasty. I also had the cacao smoothie, which I found to be too heavy on almond butter and too light on cacao. There are loads of other delicious looking smoothies, though.

Pros: outdoor seating

AWESOME!

We have been to many vegan restaurants over the years...and this one ranks among the best!! The food is absolutely the freshest we've had...we actually saw the farmer next door dropping off freshly picked basil. We tried the salads and both avocado sandwiches, smoothies, juices and even their dessert (we're not fatties...we have a family of 5!). Everything was amazing...and the atmosphere "cafe" like...very open and clean/fresh. Very impressed.

Mmm

I went here while visiting Asheville and had a great experience. You can tell that so much care goes into the food and juices here, and that it's a labor of love. The woman who took my order was perhaps the nicest employee at any restaurant I've ever encountered, and it was also enjoyable to be able to watch the cooks and owner (I believe) work in an open kitchen while I waited for my food. I had the Amazing Harvest Bowl (white quinoa, pinto beans, beets, kale, kraut, avocado, and awesome tahini dressing), and absolutely loved it. I also tried the apple-strawberry-banana kids' smoothie, which was yummy.

This place is a bit different than the kinds of restaurants I'm used to (it's very open and minimalist, and there are crystals on the tables), and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Their cashew mylks and wide range of smoothies and juices looked interesting, and I would have loved to try more here. I recommend this restaurant for healthy, delightful food.

Clean, cheery, light, bright and alive food

This is within a block or two on a side street from Trader Joes and Plant. Food is light and full of life. Tastes are natural and not manufactured or over manipulated as so many other vegan and raw food restaurants try to do. Everything about Elements from the open kitchen and floor plan to the food and presentation is clean and fresh. Love what they are doing. The raw desserts are super rich and amazing and the proportions are generous as you can see in the photos...more generous than most raw food restaurants we have been to. We did not think that the prices were high and felt we got the quality and quantity we paid for. It's all about the quality here. Go and enjoy! If you can't find parking out front on street, they also have parking in the yoga studio's off street lot.

Pros: Quslity of food and presentation, Cleanliness, Attention to detail

Cons: none
