One of the few vegan options in the town. They have vegan asian food. The location is great, by the river.
Read moreI found the food too expensive, about 20€ per portion and 7.5€ for a big bottle of water. I ordered a dish that came without rice or noodles, so I ordered some extra rice. The portion of rice was pretty small.
The food was okay. The staff seemed a bit off, they had to check with each other for the seating and in order to order. While we were paying, the waiter stepped away again to discuss something. It didn't seem very well organized...

Exquisite Vietnamese vegan food in a modern location - Edit
We ate at "Project Vegan" in August 2024. The weather was fine, so we decided to sit outside, with a nice few over the river. We had a few starters (spring rolls and gyozas), mock duck, mock chicken and a kids dish (sweet potatoe fries and mock chicken). We all liked it very much. It's fresh and healthy, nicely flavored and cooked "to the point'. Also, their lemonades taste great (ie Tropical Dusk). The waiter was very attentive and kind. Prices are reasonable. Very recommended.

Tasting menu too fishy and waited endlesly, not impressed - Edit
We were very excited to visit here. We were drooling over all the various muck duck, summer rolls and seitan chicken recipes. At the venue we decided to go for the tasting menu for 49 euro's pp.
Read moreThis way, we thought we could sample as much as possible from the menu. My partner is an omnivore who likes to make her own seitan. I am a vegetarian, and I cannot stomach any seafood of any kind.The first course there was a cocos soup, it was ok, not spectacular, the edamame were not steaming hot anymore and lacked salt, there were faux shrimps and a very very sweet sauce. It really put me off. There was a seaweed salad, for me it was too fishy and absolutely disgusting. For my partner it would have been nice if it would have come as a side with another dish but standalone it just didn't make much sense.. Our neighbors also clearly didn't care for the seaweed. The Gyoza felt liked warmed up, not fresh. It sometimes happens.
So the first course was a bit disappointing. But hey, it is a tasting menu, win some lose some, right? We regret not telling the staff not anything too "fishy", Nor that would have been easy as we didn't see them near our table for 45 minutes. They clearly forgot about us. Not a hint of an apology or acknowledgement of the staff. They must have noticed we were there for a very long time, over 2 hours.
The menu said "a selection of main dishes" so like in any other restaurant it would be a sampling of a various dishes. Not just vegetables, or just muck meat or faux fish.
After 45 minutes being hungry and bored the main dish finally arrived to our horror, it was a fake fish curry, we both didn't like it. It was like damp pieces of something in a mushy curry.
We also don't think it is a very shareable dish when you are there with a good friend instead of your partner.
They tried their best to make the sushi look spectacular, all the pieces were stacked up high. For me of course again too fishy, not a very good texture, for my partner there was too much rice in the sushi.
We didn't finish the dishes.
The desert was really disappointing, ice with some peanut crumbles and some curd with some mango, also not very shareable if you are not with your partner. Come on guys it is 2024 you can do better than this.

After reading all the reviews, we probably went there with high expectations. Unfortunately, we feel a little underwhelmed.

Everything just felt a bit off. For example, the springrolls didn't have sufficient filling, the edamame were of less quality, and the soup was not spicy enough (but oke for those who don't like spicy food). Besides that, the sushi wasn't easy to eat, because it wasn't probably cut and it was presented stacked vertically (see picture). So, we needed two people to pickup the sushi. The shrimp was oke, but the sauce was extremely sweet. The curry included fish sticks, which didn't fit together. The dessert was oke, but very simple. The mango rice was simply not for those who are not used to this kind of cuisine.
However, we like the concept and we would go here again if the price wasn't 49 euros per person.
Side note: my friend is an Asian 'food critique', so he had a bit more critique then I would probably have had on my own :)
We probably would have given 3.5 stars, but that's of course not possible ;). For those who seek an comparable experienced on a higher level, go to Mandala in Bonn. To quote my Asian friend: "there you have the truly superior experience".

Prime location in Koblenz with a nice view on the river. But the best part is of course the food; we had the sushi and the seitan "duck" in mango curry sauce. Both fresh and 🤤 we will definitely come back if we're around again!

The wantan were very good. They were thin, more like stuffed nachos and very crispy.
The udon noodles with „duck“ were the best!! I have never eaten such a delicious fake duck. Crispy, chewy and the taste is 10/10 for me.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and do a good job.
I find the price of 6,50€ for a 0,4 (i guess) Mango-Schorle (juice with soda) a bit high. Wantan eventually could also be one more for 7€. But ok, this wouldn’t hold me back from going there again and again😄

Wonderful selection, hard to choose, everything tasted amazing. We’ve been in Germany for a week and this is easily the most satisfying meal we have had. Also- the single person sushi options are no joke, needed help.

Der Service ist Spitzenklasse!
Das Essen war ein absoluter Traum! Es war so gut, dass wir nach unserer Tour nicht lange überlegt haben und einfach nochmal hin mussten.
Wer in Koblenz wohnt, sollte hier Unterstützung lassen und für jeden eine riesen Empfehlung! Das wünscht man sich überall!

Their menu is huge and we had a hard time choosing a reasonable amount of food. We ended up with the Pho in Love Soup (best broth ever!) and the Miquang Soup (awesome curry soup!). I would definitely eat here again.

It was a great experience to discover some new tastes fromt the rich Asian kitchen. As starter I had Buddha rolls. Ingredients were tasty and the roll itself was incredebly crunchy fried! Main dish was the "what the duck". The dish had a lot of vegatables with a very lovely mango/coconut sauce. The seitan "duck" was soft and juicy on the inside and had some good grilled coating on the outside. This was a great combination and tasted almost perfect in combanation with the mango/coconut sauce.
Read moreThe location itself is also worth mentioning it. It's partly a new, modern building and partlyan old, beautiful renovated building. This combined with the nice decoration inside gives an quite unique atmosphere. From most parts in the restaurant you have a view on the river Mosel. This is defnitively one of the prettiest restaurants I've visited.
Prices are a bit above average, but you also pay for the location.

Superschöne, große, gemütliche Location direkt an der Mosel mit großer Terrasse, freundlichem Service und megaleckerem Essen, rein vegan.... Golden Poulet als Vorspeise und Curry you home als Hauptspeise- beides megalecker und schön angerichtet, Portionsgröße ok ( wegen der Vorspeise konnte ich die Hauptspeise nicht aufessen, trotz großen Hungers).... Preislich etwas erhöht, aber m.M.n. trotzdem fair, weil die wegen der exponierten Lage im touristischen Zentrum mit Sicherheit hohe Miete haben, außerdem wohl auch für gute Zwecke spenden...
