Healthy juice place

This place is located in the Turnstyle Food Court: you go to the 59th Street and Columbus Circle subway (i.e., metro) station, and look for the food court before you enter through the turnstyle for the subway (though you need not have to take the subway in order to access the food court). There are some seats and table--but the vibe is of a subway station, so you would be better off taking your wares elsewhere (like nearby Central Park).

Pressed (formerly known as Pressed Juicery) offers ready made, very healthy juices. Many people use their juices for detoxing; my favorite juice is the pineapple green protein, which they claim has the same type of protein as egg (but is vegan). This branch of Pressed does not offer soft-serve, but they do sell a bag of vegan chocolate chip mini-cookies.

Pros: Healthy, reasonably priced.

Cons: It is located in a subway station
