Vegan cafe with delicious breakfast & lunch options. Staff is friendly, but not always attentive. I had to walk a lot to the front. The smoothiebowl was super tasty and the interior is nice.

Unequal treatment of guests - Edit
I was the only one sitting outside to be explicitly asked to pay immediately, all other guests at the other four to five tables weren’t. That’s more than a no-go. I don’t know what led the service temp to conclude I might leave without settling my bill, but either way, there’s no justification for leaving me with an disquieting feeling.

I’ve been to Plants & Cakes many times now, and I can highly recommend it to everyone. They use high-quality ingredients and make a lot of things in-house, which you can definitely taste. This place is absolutely worth the hype! While it can sometimes be hard to find a seat inside (though the terrace is great in the summer), there are plenty of to-go options. From juices and raw cakes to sandwiches and bowls, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I especially love the monthly changing bowls. The price is definitely justified, and it’s perfect for an occasional treat - always happy to return!

I really like the new ordering system - you can now order right from your table using a QR code, and the food is brought to you, while to-go orders are made directly at the counter. It makes everything flow so much better and frees up a lot of space inside. The new tables also add more seating, which is great. It’s still super popular (which makes me happy for the owners!), and I usually just about manage to snag a seat.

All GF and vegan! Worth it, but wish I tried the pea smash. I found the carrot lox better than the tuna but both were quite salty (the tuna moreso). The sweets were amazing, definitely get the lunch or breakfast spread.

Delicious vegan options but overpriced - Edit
This café offers a full vegan sugar-free and gluten-free menu which is amazing. We had sandwiches with lax made from carrots and vegan cream cheese and one with chickpeas and kimchi. Both were delicious. Their matcha latte and oat latte were also yummy. We also went a second time and had one of the savory bowls which are packed with fresh veggies. For dessert we tried a variety of the raw cakes with chocolate, nut butter and one with strawberry and vegan yoghurt. Food is a 10/10 here but the prices are a little too high for some dishes. We also wanted to try their vegan homemade granola and juices but were shocked about the prices. A teeny tiny glass of granola (for two portions max) was around 8 euros, also the vitamine shots were at 7 euros. They also sell small smoothie bowls to go for around 11 euros. Wish they were a little more affordable so we could go there more often.

Mittlerweile kann man draußen sehr gut sitzen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Der Peanut White Chocolate Cake war der Hammer. Die Ansicht, dass es zu teuer ist kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ja, der Kuchen im normalen Café ist 1-2 Euro billiger. Aber hier besteht der gesamte Kuchen jeweils aus sehr teuren Zutaten. Unser Kuchen war quasi fast nur aus einer Cashew Creme und Erdnussmus. Wie kann man erwarten, dass ein enorm nussreicher Kuchen so billig wie ein gezuckerter Weizenteig ist? Das ist völlig realitätsfern. Ich gönne mir das gerne mal.

I ate one of the best açaí bowl I’ve ever had! The açaí was fresh and tasted authentic, not watered down or overpowered by banana, which is often the case at other places! 🍌 Not only did it taste amazing, it also looked lovely and very instagrammable! The bowl was prepared quickly. All in all: 10/10 would recommend! There’s outdoor and indoor seating, lots of stuff for takeaway and they also serve savory dishes! Their breads are so delicious as well! Good portion and plentiful toppings
