Pretty good options - Edit
Plantology offers all vegan and gluten free food. The restaurant is adorable inside and staff is very nice. Owner is extremely nice and does so much for the San Antonio vegan community.

They also have the best vegan queso I’ve ever had in my life.
Some items don’t really seem worth the price. My husband got a breakfast sandwich for like 12-14 and he legit ate it in 5 bites. Some sandwiches are upwards of 15-16 and they don’t come with fries or a drink. I know vegan and gf food is going to be a lot more money than regular food, but I think a lot of the money you pay is going into the decor and location. I just can’t justify buying a sandwich for 2 hours of work 😭
Other than the price, this restaurant is great and I’m so happy to see a vegan and gf option in San Antonio.

it was delicious the staff was very nice when we walked in with lots of options, so we ordered and sat down the wait was a little long but it was worth it, i got the quesabirria tacos which were delicious, and the people who came with me got the taquitos and al pastor tacos, which they loved. #Veganuary

Stopped in here on Thanksgiving morning. One of the few places open. Food was delicious, even my husband liked his Cuban sandwich and he's not vegan. He said it was tasty!

I am in town for a few weeks and my sister suggested Plantology for dinner. I wanted everything on the menu because everything sounded delicious. We ordered a few items and a Michelada to seal the deal. I devoured the cheese fries and the birria tacos and a flauta off my sister's plate. Will definitely be back.

Super cute little vegan place with very instagrammable decor. The vegan Bahn Mi (Bahn Dot Com) is absolutely INSANE... you would never know it's vegan. They also have a great range of kombucha and other drinks too. The staff are super sweet and knowledgeable, and were happy to have a chat. Will definatelt be back asap!

100% Vegan & Gluten Free! - Edit
We have diverse food needs in our family- 1 medically needs gluten free, 2 vegan and 2 flexitarian- so this was a bit of heaven for us! Food was really good and no deep fried junk. Yes, it’s a bit pricey for the portion size, but this state is one of the most obese in the COUNTRY due to HUGE portion sizes and lard loaded foods. I think the smaller (proper) portion sizes are a good learning experience. A trip to another country will truly reinforce this notion.

Very good food, a bit on the pricey side but still deserve a 5 starts! My husband ordered a Ruben sandwich and I got the Banh mi, both were delicious but a tad small for $16. We had to order another plate of tacos as we were both still hungry 🌮 🌮 🌮 (we do eat a lot!) Which was very filling and delicious!
