One of the World's Best Restaurants - Edit
I love everything about this new restaurant, beautifully set next to the Blanco Museum. When I entered the restaurant, I was certain that the prices were going to be expensive, as the restaurant is so elegantly designed with a lovely view.
Read moreI was initially doubting that a restaurant that serves so many types of cuisines could master each of the cuisines. They have absolutely pulled off a multi ethnic cuisine vegan restaurant. They serve some of the finest vegan sushi globally, their drinks are outstanding, and their desserts are decadent! I highly recommend their ice creams and their tiramisu is out of this world.
They are perfecting an aged vegan cheese board which I sampled. Wow! Creamy, rich, and full of aged cheese complex flavors. It is definitely ready to be added to the menu.
I have been to nearly 70 countries as a vegan, and I must add this to my world favorite list. If you miss going here, you are missing a world class dining experiemce.

If you want a fine-dining experience without spending ridiculous amounts of money, this is the place to visit! The menu was so extensive that one visit was simply not enough! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! A definite must visit if you're vego!

I visited here twice. The view and atmosphere was breathtaking and beautiful. The food was very well plated but missed the mark for taste. The blueberry pancakes were very dense, the scrambled tofu was very salty and needed to be paired with some avocado on toast.

Read moreBreakfast, lunch and dinner. We've had them all at Plant Bistro and every meal was amazing. This fully vegan bistro offers a lot of options: sweet, savory or anything else you might hunger for.
There is also spring water that is free to grab so you can ease your thirst.
The flavours of the meals are sophisticated. The plant based nutella is a rich, dark, hazelnut flavour that pairs greatly with the crêpes or the croissant muffin.
The plant tenderloin with purple potato puree was simply divine! I could have eaten two portions without a doubt.
The lava cake for dessert takes 15 minutes to prepare, but when your spoon opens it up and the gooey chocolate flows out and you have a taste, every minute you've waited will melt away like the caramelised sugar that is served with it.

Love the vibe of this place — it’s elegant, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The pastries were absolutely delicious and the drinks were great too. The chickpea omelette and avocado was just average, but the French toast definitely stood out as the best of the three. I actually came back a few days later just for the pastries — they were that good!

World Class Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Plant Bistro has to be one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to. It does everything well. It looks beautiful, has an extensive menu, incredible food, an amazing separate patisserie section, and wonderful genuinely friendly service.

Stayed in Ubud for 4 days and this was pretty much the only place I ate, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was so delicious and fresh! Staff is super kind and even though prices are a little high and portions are not too big, I felt all was worth it!

Incredible variety of vegan options of different cuisines ranging from traditional Indonesian to Japanese to even Italian food. The staff speaks English very well and is happy to inform guests about allergens and give recommendations. Would definitely visit again, I‘m still sad I missed out on their pastry!

So many items to choose from, choose the salmon (carrot) bruschetta, gnocchi de zucca and jackfruit pizza. The salmon tasted just as I remembered and was incredible. Added chilli oil to my pasta, the oil was mild but both were delicious particularly together. Pizza base was perfect.

First we had Pizzas, I had Pizza Capricosa, it was filled with some vegan cheese. Very tasty dough. We also tried Pad Thai, delicious and the best was Lava Cake! You have to order it if you have a sweet tooth. Also they offer sweet croisant and other paistries (they are not very sweet😉

A top restaurant with a bakery. The pizza is amazing and so are the pastries (croissaint, chocolatine, cruffins…). Burger was also very good, although nothing reached the level of the pizza 😅 the ginger beer comes highly recommended for a drink!

The best in Ubud - Edit
The best food in terms of quality we had in Ubud. So much choice on the menu and fully vegan. They bring out the dishes super fast and have big portions well worth the price. Other restaurants in the area have smaller portions but not here. The staff are super friendly and happy to recommend specials
