Pizza vegana e vegetariana

Ottime pizze! Forse tra le più buone al mondo. Uniche opzioni: vegana o vegetariana quindi marinara o Margherita.
Di tanto in tanto una terza opzione

Pros: Pizza buonissima , Prezzo modico

Cons: Attesa lunga , Poca scelta

Tasty marinara

Pizza marinara is very good, there is a lot of people and the tables are few, but if you ask you can take the pizza and sit in the bar on the other side of the street!

Top pizzeria in Naples

Historic pizzeria in Naples, only 4 pizzas on the menu including the marinara - it can be a long wait but it's always worth it 😋😋😋

Pros: Best pizza marinara

Cons: Long wait

Burnt Crust

Extremely Overrated pizza......pizza sauce was good but sadly both pizzas we ordered had the burnt crust flavor (although the crusts were not terribly burnt)....extremely weird! In any case, it was cheap so I guess it was ok for the price.

Pros: cheap, good sauce

Cons: burnt crust

"burnt crust flavour" is woodfire flavour. Can understand why you'd be surprised if you've only eaten gas oven pizza before trying this style.

i agree with dicellol - you can’t expect to get a wood fire pizza without the unique delicious crust. It’s kind of like going to KFC and wondering why the only have chicken and nothing properly vegan.

The authentic Neapolitan pizza

Restaurant that offers 4 types of pizza: marinara (tomato, olive oil, oregano and garlic), margherita, cosaco (like margherita with another cheese) and a combination of half marinara and half margherita. The only vegan pizza is the marinara. The pizza is very tasty, the service is fast and it’s very affordable (5€ each pizza). The only con is that it’s always supercrowded (is the most popular pizzeria in Naples), so you have to wait for a table 30-60 minutes. The wait is worth it.

Pros: Good pizza, Affordable (5€ each pizza)

Cons: Super crowded, Wait for a table 30-60 minutes

Decent authentic Italian pizzeria

We ventured a few minutes down the road to visit Pizzeria da Michele. Being a popular spot for locals and tourists we had quite high expectations. Upon arrival there were a few customers waiting to be seated inside. As it was raining and a long wait time we decided to get a takeaway option.

Firstly the price was very cheap at €5 per pizza. The portion size was very decent, they look very large but if you think of how thin the base is, it makes a lot of sense to have a large area. The tomato sauce was lovely. As a garlic fan I would have liked a bit more on my pizza. It possibly could have done with a bit more seasoning to get the sauce perfect. I unfortunately had an overpowering burnt crust taste which took a star away. Quite disappointing, as it could have been overlooked if not quite so strong. Although my friend was a bit luckier in his crust result and liked it a bit more. The menu lacked options, which wasn’t a real problem for me considering the price. The food came very quickly. I can’t judge the ambience as I didn’t actually sit inside, but it seemed very Italian, quite small and quaint. Didn’t really interact with the staff either so unsure of how service is there.

I would neither recommend or discourage vegans from going here. It’s a very basic authentic Italian pizzeria. Nothing special or grand. But happy to have visited.

Pros: Cheap, Authentic, Great sauce

Cons: Long wait times, Burnt pizza crust, Nothing amazing

🤣 it's a woodfire pizza, it's expected that the crust is burnt and has the burnt woodfire flavour. This and the flavour/seasoning is tradition and will be for many years to come.

You rated a crustless pizza from Latvia the same as a pizza from the home of pizza in Italy 🤦‍♂️ your review holds no weight 🤌

Great pizza

Amazing Marinara pizza, huge portion and the pizza only costs €5. The staff are very friendly. We wanted to sit in, so we got a ticket number for which you should wait to be displayed on the big digital display in the door. We sat across the street and had a drink and when we saw that the queue got smaller, we asked them and they waved us though even though our number had still 20 to go.

Pros: Cheap, Quick service once in , Authentic

Cons: Long waiting time

very touristic but very delicous!

We arrived there at 10.50 am (10 mins before it opens) and there was already a queue. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait too long until we got in and the pizzas were very delicous!! There are four different ones and one of them is vegan.
However, the ambience had more of a fast food restaurant but the pizzas are also pretty cheap (5€ each) so it fits the price.
All in all I think it is worth to try this pizza if you want to eat something typical from naples but if you are looking for a nice restaurant to go out in the evening, this is not the right place.

Pros: Very delicious, cheap

Cons: queue, ambience

there was a huge queue outside when we arrived (around 3pm). we had to wait around an hour to go inside but when we were leaving the queue was almost nonexistent. food was delicious and inexpensive. customer service was great too.

Totally a must go in Naples

I have been in their pizzeria in Berlin and they stole my heart with their marinara, so I had to try their pizza in their place of origin and they didn't disappoint!
Go there and try the real pizza from Napoli.🥰

Amazing pizza

This is probably a must-try for many. The queue is very long but if you choose takeaway you can sit at the place just across the street provided you buy drinks there. You can even just go there and the staff will place your pizza order at Michele's and bring it to you.
We tried both options on offer - margherita and marinara. Especially the marinara was amazing, very garlicky and the tomato base super tasty.

Pros: Great original Naples pizza, Only 5€ per pizza

Cons: Long wait, Not many seats

To me it was worth the hype!

I had pizza at other places in Naples, but yeah Da Michele is the best! Inexpensive and good! I didn't eat there. I waited outside for around 20 minutes with everyone else, and just had my pizza to go. The seating is communal but it was stuffy in there and I just wanted to gobble up my pizza with air conditioning on. Only con is I think the worker there ripped me off because I should have had more change.

Crowded and Cheap

Not so comfy place to have a pizza. Rated as one of the best pizzas in Italy, we can definetly say we had better ones in places at the amalfi coast. Although its cheap and super fast. Has only Four different Pizza choices.

Can’t beat a proper marinara ❤️

We love this place ☺️ both feel it deserves it’s reputation and have visited on multiple trips to Naples. Worth the wait.

Good value pizza

This place has been around since 1872, so they must be doing something right! There are only two options - marinara (vegan option) which is the tomato base or margarita tomato and cheese option.
The pizza base was great and so was the tomato sauce on the marinara. The servings are huge.
We went at 7.30pm on a Wednesday in December, while the place was busy we didn’t need to queue and was served quickly.
It’s also the cafe where Julia Roberts at pizza in EatPray Love.

Amazing pizza

We went at around 16:00 on a Saturday for takeout. We waited about 45 mins for our pizza. The marinara pizza comes with a couple of garlic slices. The sauce and crust are amazing! We’ve had several marinara pizzas in Italy and the sauce makes all the difference, this one was top notch.

Pros: Vegetarian restaurant (only 2 pizza options), One pizza type automatically vegan, English speaking

Good but not worth it

Look, it was a very nice pizza, but I've had great pizza all over Venice and Florence that didn't take 40 minutes standing in line for take away.
If you can eat here once to say you did it then you'll like it when the food finally comes. If you can't wait 40 minutes then go elsewhere and come back early

Pros: Nice traditional pizza , Cheap, Tasty

Cons: Bloody long wait. , No where to sit while waiting , Locals come and crowd the place

One of the Best

I was determined to go to this pizza place as it was the one Liz at at in Eat Pray Love. I went expecting that I would have to communicate that I did not want cheese on my pizza, until I realized they only do two pizzas (both vegetarian), and one of them is Pizza Marinara which did not need any modifications. I ate a lot of Pizza in Naples and this was easily my favourite. The sauce and the crust were INCREDIBLE and it was well worth the 1 hr wait to get inside.

Pros: Only Two Pizzas... One is vegan, Fully vegetarian

Cons: Busy- waited up to an hour

fantastic pizza, but not worth the hype

it truly is one of the best pizzas we‘ve ever eaten, but there‘s many other places that make ones that are just as delicious. if you‘re really determined to go there for the sake of seeing a historical landmark, do it. it was quite confusing though, we got there and had to draw a number to wait outside for seating, just to figure out you could queue for take away inside of the restaurant (which is only offered from 16:30 for some reason?). once we got in line to wait for that we saw that there were more tables than the staff managed to serve, leaving many of them unoccupied while the crowd outside was waiting. you‘ll find plenty of places in and around Naples with quicker service, nicer seating and just as good of a pizza.

Pros: great pizza, place with a history

Cons: super crowded , it‘s just pizza.

Heerlijke (vegan) pizza

Heerlijke pizza's!
