Meh - Edit
I love that this place has many vegan options, but I’ve been a bit disappointed in the food lately. Bruschetta is $11 for some chopped up unseasoned tomatoes and plain bread slices. The cheese toast is really something (refer to photos) None of the appetizers are that great.
Read moreThe pizza is also just ok. Very heavy and gooey. I’ve had better pizza from a brewery. The hoagies are the best thing on the menu.
They’ve also messed up our takeout order a few times now and just don’t see myself coming here unless they improve the food. #Veganuary

We are regulars at this spot. - Edit
Been here and ordered online probably 100+ times. Minor errors from time to time create the occasional inconsistency from the kitchen but never had an issue getting quality vegan food. Recommend the Ruby Rae and the Rustler for pizzas. Our favorite seasonal pizzas are the butternut squash and the cheeseburger pizzas. The vegan veggie balls are a great appetizer (and the vegan cheese toast is good too). Salad options available.

Excellent vegan pizza - Edit
This is my weekly guilty pleasure, but maybe not so guilty as the food is very clean. I love, love, love their veggie ball topping, the vegan cheese (I prefer the cashew based one to the rinotta), the sauce, and the crust. Vegan options are all over the menu and well-marked.

Eh, they could do better - Edit
The number of options I have as far as toppings and cheese is great, but it is not worth the price. This pizza is mostly tomato sauce on bread tasting for how much more expensive a vegan pizza is. The creamy salty pizza quality is not there. 3 stars because it is open late.

Cool pizza shop with unique vegan options - Edit
There's a really good amount of vegan options. The vegan bruschetta is a go to. The vegan nuggets tasted like microwaveable vegan nuggets so I would avoid getting those. The pizzas are always pretty good and I like trying the seasonal ones too.

I've always loved Pizza Luce. This location has a nice atmosphere inside and a porch as well, which is nice for the summertime. I enjoyed the vegan dessert they had.

Delivery pizza: Good but expensive - Edit
We ordered delivery and got the Vegan Athena pizza, with the Violife vegan cheese, and an order of Lucky Birds (think chickenless nuggets) with buffalo sauce.
Read moreI really like the crust of the pizza so I was pretty happy. And the mozzarella alternative was a step up from Da*ya and it melted well. I would skip the nuggets, they didn't add much but the buffalo sauce was excellent.
I would order again, but not when I'm on a tight budget.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Vegan cheese choices, Good pizza
Cons: Not cheap

Food was ok - Edit
Service was super. Tons of vegan options. Had a meatball appetizer and a pesto chicken sandwich. The house-made cheese spread was pretty good (got it on some garlic bread). Overall the food was just a little bland and the mock chicken in the sandwich was a little too soft.

Amazing!! - Edit
I have ordered delivery pizza countless times from them. I’ve tried all their vegan options and love their arugula and wild mushroom pizza. It is my favorite vegan junk food at the moment and I am definitely addicted! The wrangler and Athena pizzas are also good, but the arugula and wild mushroom is definitely my go to. I’ve also tried their vegan cheese bread and it was fair. Great amount of options! My favorite junk food now.

This is my least favorite pizza luce location. The richfield, selby, and seward locations are nicer.

The Rinotta is the Winner - Edit
Between this and Galactic, the other vegan-friendly pizza place in the Cities, I usually choose Luce. It's a bit pricier, but the Rinotta is so worth it. I like having two different options! Luce has a creative menu, and many of their signature pizzas can be made vegan with fake meats and cheese.
Read moreI've been to the Selby and Uptown Luces, both of them are nice but tend to get extremely busy on weekend nights. Make reservations!

good, but I don't understand the commotion? - Edit
I moved to Minneapolis this past summer and had already heard stories of how awesome this place was before I could cross the MN border. It was my first vegan pizza experience in MN (not the only) and truthfully has always been "fine" I like the renotta over the soy cheese and I think their sandwiches are possibly better than the famed pizza. I just don't think it is "amazing" or even "great" my experience is most likely to be "good". I like the music, the staff is always friendly and accommodating- nice selection of vegan options. The nagging thing that I usually don't think about when eating pizza parlor pizza, is that I could do a better job at home. Sorry Luce, I keep trying to discover what others find so outstanding but it eludes me.

A Must Visit - Edit
Every time I've gone to Pizza Luce it has been solid. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is prompt. This is the best place to find vegan pizza in Minneapolis. However, be prepared to fork over quite a bit of cash when you visit.

Great veggie and vegan options - Yum! - Edit
Pizza luce is the best pizza and italian fusion, moderate priced restaurant I've experienced. The Uptown-ex-Wedge version seems the most natural location, but the downtown version is great too. To work there, it seems body art may be required. Good, friendly service is all I've experienced. Highly recommended for us veg*ns.

*OMG* Holy Vegan Pizza Goodness!!! - Edit
OMG! I can't believe this place! And thank goodness for a friend who suggested this place and even for suggesting we ordered off of the menu. Get the The Lil' Gracie or Pizza Athena with the *Rinotta* Vegan cheese (there's two choices so be sure to get the aforementioned Vegan cheese) and you will not be displeased, in fact, you will fall in love with this place!!! If only something like this was in Chicago! ;)

Yum! A pleasant vacation surprise - Edit
I was in Minneapolis with some friends for a conference and one night we decided to order in. A couple of my friends had already had Pizza Luce and raved about it, so we decided to order from them. As a vegan, I was prepared to go cheeseless veggie, as I have in the past. It didn't occur to me to check the Happy Cow list of veg-friendly restaurants I'd printed out for my trip (vegan-friendly pizza joints are few and far between, in my experience).
Read moreMy friend was on the phone ordering for us, and apparently the person taking the order thought it weird that we were ordering cheeseless, so he offers not one, but two types of vegan cheese! Yippee! It was such a pleasant surprise -- the pizza was to die for. The delivery was prompt and the price was fair. Definitely recommended.
Pros: vegan-friendly, delicious, prompt delivery
Cons: they're not in the DC area

Tasty, fun place - Edit
I loved this place. Their Lil Gracie pizza with soy cheese and veggies and fake sausage and pepperoni was tasty and light; their garlic-cheese toast with rinotta vegan cheese was also delicious and unusual. This is a great option to have for vegans who miss pizza and are also looking to have a beer with some good music in the background.
