Back Area is Fantastic Setting - Edit
Flavour of the tempeh ribs was great but it is seared / glazed rather than braised / stewed so it might not be the texture you’re after. Mie Goreng is spot on though and the back area is airy and cool as it can be!

Update 2024: I had the Tempe Ribs with sweet potato puree, absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best foods I’ve had while being in Bali. Service is nice too and the view over the rice fields. I still recommend.
Read moreReally liked the staff, super friendly and attentive. Nice view for a relaxed lunch or dinner. I had the vegan satay and it was really delicious, it really tasted like bbq tempeh, portion could have been a bit bigger - 35k plus 10% tax. I would recommend it, definitely one of the better options if you are at Monkey Forest Road.

Loved this little restaurant. You can enjoy a range of vegan options (they have a vegan section on the menu) on their terrace facing rice fields. The food was very delicious but portion sizes were quite small. But as it has low prices I would just order another main next time😄we had the vegan satay and the Nasi Goreng. Both were really delicious!

I have been there twice and dishes are hit or miss, its close to our homestay and thats a plus. Vegan version of Indonesian food is quite good. A bit expensive and you have to pay 10% extra for some taxes not included in base price

I had the vegan satay and a frozen mint/lemon drink. I thought it was delicious! Best tempeh satay I've had in Bali so far. Maybe portion sizes could be a little bigger, but for me it was a perfect amount of food. A relaxing place to sit facing a field, listening to the sounds of nature.
