Serves meat, vegan options available. A little takeaway hut serving Italian-style pizza and pasta and various Indian dishes. A vegan section of the Indian menu offers many dishes. There is a picnic bench at the hatch where you order and you can watch your food being prepared. Open Mon-Fri 11:30-22:30, Sat 16:30-22:30, Sun 12:30-22:30.

Simple, good food

Small, unpretentious eatery with a serious range of vegan dishes. We asked for a veganised aloo baingan (183) and aloo bhindi (182), plus a vegan pizza and some pakora (132) for starters.

The Indian mains were nice: good but not entirely overwhelming and slightly on the tomato-ey side. The pizza was a decent fast-food style pizza. Instead of veggie pakora, however, we were served cheese pakora. When I asked the staff about it, I was told that they were "simply out of veggie ones", followed by a rather flippant "but did you like them?" (twice, actually) 🙄

I'm not a fan of wasting food, and I wish they'd asked us beforehand, because then we would have simply ordered something else or gone without them. I'm pretty sure the salad dressing contained dairy, too – although we'd definitely stressed that we wanted vegan food while placing our order 🫤

Empfehlung

Sechs vegane Gerichte explizit auf der Karte. Außerdem Pizza und zwei Tagesgerichte in vegan ausgeschildert. Leckeres Tarka Daal. Portionen dürfen für mich immer größer sein, aber ist okay. Freundliche Menschen, unkompliziert, kurze Wartezeit.

Direkt an der Straße ohne Stufen, also rollstuhlgerecht.

Tasty Indian food

The restaurant is run by Indians. There are a few vegan indian curries on the menu, which all tastes very good.

Pros: Very tasty and not too pricey

Cons: Could have more vegan dishes on the menu
