Tasty simple food - Edit
Got dinner here first night in Brussels. Was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with clearly labelled vegan options. Got the fries and "vegan tenders". They look a little funny, but tasted great, especially with ketchup. Kinda jealous I didnt get the sweet potato fries, but maybe next time :)

We had the tempura de champignons and "vegan nuggets" and neither were quite what we were expecting. Tempura is supposed to be a light, almost fluffy batter -- these were heavily fried, although they used oyster mushrooms which was interesting. The vegan nuggets were really quite strange. Triangles of seaweed and cubes of beetroot and sweet potato (or maybe carrot), compressed and deep fried, with an almost jelly-like interior. Definitely interesting, but overall not great.

Tasty friterie with clearly marked vegan options. The chips are now definitely vegan - they are marked on the menu board as such and the website says ‘Nos Frites sont cuites à l’huile végétale’ which means they are cooked in vegetable oil.

Nice option when going out for fries with non-vegans, they don't have vegan fries but at least sweet potato fries as an alternative. The chef ketchup was a bit odd, didn't taste like ketchup at all, I'd guess it was made of beetroot, judging by the colour and taste. If you like beetroot it might be a nice creative version of ketchup, I would've preferred normal tomato ketchup

I truly don't understand why this place is on Happycow. Of course it's nice that they clearly mark which dressings are vegan, but when their main product - the actual french fries - contain beef fat, you really only have one option, namely the sweet potato fries. With so many other options in the city, that hardly warrants a listing.

Read moreLes frites de patate douce sont hyper bonnes, les meilleurs que j'ai mangé honnêtement, et il y a un très grand choix de sauce. Les tempura de Pleurote sont aussi bonnes que grasse, ça remplis bien l'estomac !
Les options Vegan sont clairement affiché, l'aïoli est super bon.
Le service est très cool et rapide, rien à redire.
