Slightly disappointing - Edit
I got a classic croissant and a pistachio croissant. I went an hour after opening and the classic croissant was very crunchy with a bit of a freezer burn taste. Heating up in the microwave helped it a little but it for sure was not worth it for me. The pistachio was good. Still a bit too crunchy in parts but the filling made it moist enough. It was also pretty expensive, as to be expected right now from small businesses like this but they add an 18% charge to all orders and they don't tell you this. I didn't notice a small print sign explaining this until after my purchase. My order was $13.85.

Pros: Good pistachio croissant, All vegan
Cons: Crunchy classic croissant & not the tastiest , Very pricey. An added 18% to all orders

Great Brunch! - Edit
The breakfast/brunch selections are top notch! Everything is great but I recommend skipping the croissants. It may just be me but they have a very strange aftertaste.

Very nice establishment. Stopped by for breakfast and so glad I did. - Edit
I was looking for a vegan spot for breakfast while visiting SLC. This place popped up on Happy Cow and decided to try. Had the breakfast scramble sandwich which was delicious. The latte and fruit tart were wonderful as well. Highly recommend. They have a great assortment of other pastries and sweets for those so inclined.

Great Food! - Edit
Great pastries & some options that aren’t as easy to find in vegan form like macaroons & filled croissants. If you’re looking for a full meal then their food menu is great too!

Incredible pastries 🥐 - Edit
We tried the pistachio croissant, citrus-strawberry scone, “ham & cheese” croissant, and lavender lemonade. Every item was delicious. The scone was the perfect scone texture and the croissants were out of this world. The lavender lemonade was a delight. Don’t miss out!!

Good Espresso, dry St. Horn - Edit
They had a very good espresso. The Coffee Cake was also fresh and good. Not like that was the St. Horn. It was dry and had only one little bite of filling (ehat you can see on my picture was all the filling). Couldn’t even taste ist so little. French pastry is usually very fresh (France is our neighbor country); this one wasn’t although we went here first thing in the morning.

Delicious and cute spot - Edit
I agree with the other reviews that their coffee isn’t the best, but everything else was great! My mom (non vegan) and I got a chocolate croissant and a St. horn and they were both amazing. We also had the caprese sandwich and mediterranean bowl which were delicious and filling. Will definitely be coming back for pastries next time I’m in Salt Lake.

london fog was good, french dip okay - Edit
i’d come back because it’s all vegan and try more, but the french dip was just okay. i’m comparing it to the french dip at coletta in new york so it’s not super fair but it’s alright.

We got the banana pie and the chocolate croissant. The banana pie was pretty sweet and the texture was pretty disappointing. The croissant was a little too crunchy, and the chocolate wasn’t filled well.

Mediterranean Bowl was packed with flavor. Roasted garbanzos and paired well with the lentils and sweet potatoes. Substantial but still light. Avocado toast was a generous and delicious portion.

Amazing vegan pastries and coffees - Edit
We had a chocolate croissant, a banana cream tart, a fruit tart, and a couple macarons. All the pastries were incredibly delicious. For drinks, we got a London fog and a peppermint mocha. Both were also delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe. It has such a nice atmosphere, plus it’s next to a great record store, Randy’s. Loved it!

Disappointingly, the pastries were not fresh. The pistachio rose cake has a great flavour but the texture is not soft and fresh.

Yummy treats on 9th - Edit
Like all great things in Salt Lake City. 9th south is the place to be. Had been putting off coming to Passion Flower in the past because of how many vegan options there are in Salt Lake. But now I wish we'd come sooner. This cute little bakery is a must visit. Tons of delicious pastry options. Cakes, scones and more. Had a maple scone and some iced tea. A chocolate croissant was also devoured.
