Disappointed - Edit
We ordered the pop tart, tofu benedict, and breakfast sandwich. Pop tart was good but the rest was very disappointing, including the service.
Read moreThe food was cold but tasted decent. Tofu Benedict was straight smokey flavor, nothing else.
The worst part was the service. Wow.
Pros: Decent food , Good pastries
Cons: Horrible service , Expensive , Low quality food

Ordered (DoorDashed) from here twice on a recent visit to SLC and all the food was great! We had the French dip, the smoked Benedict and the biscuit breakfast sandwich and everything was delicious!

Excellent, fresh lunch - Edit
Mediterranean Bowl was packed with flavor. Roasted garbanzos and paired well with the lentils and sweet potatoes. Substantial but still light. Avocado toast was a generous and delicious portion.

Everything tastes the same... like mop water - Edit
Gave this place a few chances hoping that I just came on a bad day, but their pastries are some of the grossest tasting things I have ever put in my mouth

Amazing vegan pastries and coffees - Edit
We had a chocolate croissant, a banana cream tart, a fruit tart, and a couple macarons. All the pastries were incredibly delicious. For drinks, we got a London fog and a peppermint mocha. Both were also delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe. It has such a nice atmosphere, plus it’s next to a great record store, Randy’s. Loved it!

Not fresh - Edit
Disappointingly, the pastries were not fresh. The pistachio rose cake has a great flavour but the texture is not soft and fresh.

Yummy treats on 9th - Edit
Like all great things in Salt Lake City. 9th south is the place to be. Had been putting off coming to Passion Flower in the past because of how many vegan options there are in Salt Lake. But now I wish we'd come sooner. This cute little bakery is a must visit. Tons of delicious pastry options. Cakes, scones and more. Had a maple scone and some iced tea. A chocolate croissant was also devoured.

Not impressed - Edit
Our party of five met at Passion Flour for coffee/lunch. My assessment:
Read more* Coffee - okay, not great
* Food - way overpriced, poor quality. Bad choice for lunch.
* Baked goods - pretty good! Excellent assortment of croissants and pastries plus cakes.
* Service - friendly
Bottom line: come for the baked goods

Perfect vegan lunch. - Edit
This all plants based spot was one I tried way too late in the game! Quality, quantity, service and price are all on par. The caprese sandwich and breakfast sandwich we tried were so tasty. Macaroons were delicious as well!

Lunch - Edit
I have been here multiple times but never for lunch. It was delicious. If you go during a busy time food can take awhile so be prepared for that. I also recommended avoiding the after school hours. They get quite a crowd of ill behaved children that ruin the experience.

French vegan patisserie! - Edit
This store had loads of really cool vegan cakes and pastries, I could have eaten them all. In the end I went for a savoury option hoping I would have space left for a sweet but sadly not. I ordered the avocado benny and although the wait staff seemed slightly harassed the food came much quicker than anticipated. I was really impressed with the flavour of the sauce and enjoyed my first ‘biscuit’. Would also recommend the Arnold palmer - think this is my new drink!

Best vegan bakery - Edit
The food is incredible. It’s clear that really fresh ingredients are used. Whilst it is truly an indulgent paradise full of vegan treats they do also have healthy options such as avocado toast and Mediterranean bowls. Even the coffee was the best I’ve tasted. Id give this place 7* if I could, and I’m a very fussy customer!

Okay but spendy - Edit
I thought that they made a couple great things such as their in house tofu ricotta and croissants. However, I think there are a couple spots they could improve on. First off, Brunch meals could use some work. The ricotta toast was yummy but the tomatoes were not at all fresh, they were soggy and grainy which was sad because the tomato was such an integral part of it. The French Dip sandwich was very basic and seemed like something I could make at home for 2 bucks. Then, the Biscuits and Gravy w/potatoes were good but I thought it was strange that they used a brown gravy rather than the classic white "country" gravy which i prefer. The side salads were also pathetically small. Overall not bad but not worth the price i paid. I also got a pack of 5 macarons. The flavors were hit or miss and the swirl/rose shape felt weird as compared to the classic round top. I felt like because of this, it didn't bake properly and was goopy inside. The best flavor was the caramel and the worst flavor was blackberry thyme (tasted like how laundry detergent smells). If I come back to SLC I don't think this would be a place I would visit again...

I’d disagree. The choices we had were delicious and the prices were fair. Absolutely no reason to give this place 2*

everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I did not think it was worth the money I spent there. Like i said in my review the tomatoes were not fresh and were in fact soggy and gross among my other complaints. This app is for people to share their experiences and keep it real. Maybe the time you went there was a different chef and that's why it was better. who knows, all I know is that my experience with it wasn't great

Everything smells like essential oil cleaner - Edit
The food looks delicious and kind of is delicious but the store and the food always have this herbal overtone of lavender(?) or some other essential oil. It’s enough to keep me away😒
