Good options in centre of tourist area

CaA while aisle devoted to "plant milk" and another aisle for "special diets" containing lots of vegan stuff like pesto, sauces, biscuits all labelled. You have to hunt aound a bit for stuff as some if it is randomly placed in chiller/freezer cabinets. I found tofu and vegan burgers in a small chilled cabinet at the end of an aisle with mostly fish and huge tubs of taramasalata!

Pros: Loads of plant milks, Clearly labelled vegan products

Cons: Some items randomly located around the store

Vegan groceries

They have some vegan options, in the deli and in the fridges and shelves. Mostly vegan burgers, milks and cheeses.
Most of the things are marked, but it should be marked more clearly for accessibility

Much smaller selection now...

This supermarket has a great location, and is pretty decent-sized, so the selection in general is big, but the specifically vegan selection is not remarkable, and sadly no longer resembles the selection that was available a few years ago based on pictures uploaded here. I actually think the selection of vegan items available in the supermarket in Kings Ave Mall was bigger than what was available here...

I visited the supermarket because I needed something I can take away and later eat as a quick lunch outside - they did have a wide selection of plant milks, base ingredients and the like, but these were all items that weren't fit for my needs - and would only have been good for either groups, or for travellers with an accommodation that has a fridge and cooking facilities. I did not really find anything that I could have eaten up in a single eating, no single-person-sized hummus bowls, salads or anything of that sort. Only a handful types of vegan cheese, mostly VioLife, all packages too big for a single eating (blocks, not sliced). No vegan ham (which I didn't really need anyway, but I'm mentioning this because this was available previously based on another review) or anything less commonly found in a regular supermarket. In the end I left with a bag of rice crackers, a small-sized can of baked beans in tomato sauce, a small jar of olive paste (from the tourist souvenir section) and some bottled water - none of these were found in the vegan aisle. They were good, but these items would have been available in any other supermarket...

Hi tthross92, sadly I can't remember the name of the supermarket in Kings Ave Mall, and I can't see it on Google Maps either, but it's the one at the far end of the mall, on floor -1, under Jumbo. I hope this helps :)

Small selection of vegan cheese and meats. Have milk though

Small fridge section of vegan cheese and meats. Options in freezer. Found that some cookies don’t have milk or egg in. Very nice to eat. Large supermarket so lots of veggies and fruit too

Pros: Few mixed options, Reasonable price , Lots of milks

Cons: Not a massive variety

A bunch of vegan milk and cheeses

A lot of vegan milk, GreenVie and VioLife vegan cheeses, my favorite Koko yogurts, vegan spreads. Many frozen products, Fry’s and Quorn’s sausages, burgers, nuggets, fish-style fillets, two types of Fry’s pizza etc.
A nice selection of superfoods. Good prices.

Pros: Wide range of basic vegan products, Good prices

Cons: No vegan section, keep eyes peeled

Has the basics

This is a large supermarket with some of the basics needed for a vegan diet. Dried and canned beans, Koko vegan yogurt, vegan cheese in two flavours, Hellman’s vegan mayo, dehydrated soya protein and all the veg you could want. There is also a selection of gluten-free items. There isn’t a dedicated vegan section although the health foods aisle has most of the specialist stuff. Have a translator app handy to check ingredient lists. Also has a selection of Sainsbury’s items.

Pros: Gluten free basics, Beans and pulses, Vegan cheese and yogurt

Cons: No vegan section - keep eyes peeled
