Small but pleasant fast food restaurant

You can choose any kind of veggies/legumes under the glass table with your salad/bread, creating your own vegan meal. The staff are friendly and well humored, even with lots of orders on the table.

Pros: Right next to Jerónimos (monumento), Air conditioner on the upper floor

Cons: Sometimes crowded and noisy, road is right next to the tables

Happy to find some decent vegan options in an area where it is not expected.

We grabbed some food from here as we had left it late on a Sunday and just wanted to grab something quick to eat back on our terrace. The vegan options were clearly marked. We had the tofu and bhaji meal that came with a small salad, rice, chips and a water. We also had the bhaji salad. The tofu was like a scramble and was delicious and the salad was really varied...you choose which bits you want and it included more filling bits like beans and chickpeas.

Pros: A few clearly marked vegan options, Tasty no frills food, Friendly staff

Terrible

Not Great!

I asked for a Pita with mushrooms and they were canned mushrooms, quite tasteless. I think they could work harder on their vegan options.

Pros: Central, Friendly Staff, Few Vegan Options

Cons: Tasteless, Simple

Tasty Vegan Options

This isn't your organic, vegan, zero waste-type restaurant but it has clearly marked vegan options in an area where there aren't many other choices. If you're sad about the falafel containing egg, then get the bahnji, which is very tasty. We also got the scrambled tofu baguette. It's definitely on the unhealthy side of the spectrum, but it was also cheap considering the service sizes were very fulfilling.

Awesome lunch spot

This place is great. Literally over a hundred menu items, several vegan and helpfully marked. We got falafel baguettes (you pick what veggies go on it) with fries and a drink for less than 7 euro. Baguettes were crispy and soft and HUGE—couldn’t stop eating. Fries also delicious. Ordering system is confusing—you tell he person at the register your order and pay, then your receipt has a number, you wait at the counter and someone else looks at your receipt and assembles your platter. Secret great seating upstairs, too.

Pros: Delicious food, Insanely cheap, Lots of veggie options

Cons: Confusing to order, Limited English

Cheap

Vegan bhaji pita .very good value in an area where not much else available. Tasty cheap but not fast as the vegan stuff was cooked fresh (which is good) but there's a pay and get a ticket then wait system which seemed disorganised.

Pros: Value

Cons: None as long as your not in a hurry

A bit too greasy for my taste

Nice staff, low prices and great fries. Other than that, the food was too greasy for my taste and I didn't like the flavors either. I had the tofu wrap, which didn't taste good (no spices for the tofu). Their falafel contains eggs, which is a shame.
The place smelled bad (bottom floor - fried food, top floor - cleaning products) and in general makes you feel dirty after visiting it. I'd think twice before going there again.

Pros: Low prices, Nice staff

Cons: Greasy food, Bad smells

perfect snack

Was here with a friend (who eats meat). The people were so nice, the price was amazing and the food was just perfect for a little snack (We ate the little wraps). Tasty! Would come back everytime I'm around. Everyone was speaking English and we even learned a little Portuguese :D

Vegan Options on Menu

Mainly a meat filled pita restaurant I appreciated that the menu clearly labeled A vegan option. Other salads, hummus, tofu and vegetarian options available.
