Omnivors in Ecuador who know what vegan is! I'm still surprised! - Edit
Went here because the neighbours didn't open in time. Also here I found the prices a little high for Ecuador. I just had some yuca fries which were pretty good and a vagan cake they had. I was blown away that they have something like it and it also tasted good!
Read moreWhat they didn't quite get was that I said I wanted the fries first and then my espresso with the cake later. Not sure if it was my Spanish cause it's far from perfect, but I thought I was pretty clear. But at least the staff was pretty nice and had fun at work. Also not something I have seen all that often.

Decent burger - Edit
We had the quinoa burger where we were able to swap the cheese for pickles at no additional cost. We also swapped the mayonnaise for tomato chutney. The burger itself was decent, not the best I've ever had, not the worst, which might be the optimal thing you can find in a smaller city like Tena. The combo for 2 dollars more included potato fries, yuca fries, or salad plus a drink. The potato fries and yuca fries were good, but we were not huge fans of the amazon tea they seem to really try to push. The plant milk for coffee is 1.25$, which is quite a steep price.

The best meal we had in Tena. Menu is incredibly well labeled for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. We had one of the whole avocado salads, an Andean-fusion tabouli salad, and their very gingery lemonade. Loved every bite. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Restaurant is incredibly turtle themed.

The menu is well labeled so you know exactly what’s vegan, there’s options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals can come as a combo (yuka/French fries or salad and a drink). Options such as vegan pancakes, breakfast burrito, salads, quinoa burger, panini etc.

Not too many options in Tena so it was lovely to go to a restaurant with clearly labeled vegan options. The Yukka fries are amazing & the salads are massive. I ate there a few times & everything I had was delicious. Unfortunately they never had red wine in so I can’t give top ratings!

Delicious, Healthy Food with Vegan and Vegetarian Options - Edit
This place is really delicious. There's a few vegan options--the mushroom panini, vegan burger, yuca fries (best in Tena), and a few others. They had really good Guayusa tea and smoothies. They serve egg and meat here, but there aren't many vegan options in Tena, so this is a very good option.
