Serves meat, vegan options available. Pizza place with several labelled vegan pizzas. Has vegan cheese, sausage, and pepperoni. Relocated from 3110 Winam Ave. Open Mon-Sun 3:00pm-9:00pm.
Happy Hour Daily 3pm-6pm.
The food came cold. I did receive it through uber eats. However, the cheese wasn’t cooked. The flavor wasn’t really there for me. It tasted like a lunch-able. I tried getting a refund but sadly uber eats doesn’t give those. That gets me to my next point. Paying 25 dollars for a small pizza that was not cooked is not it.
We are so sorry to hear about this issue Anika😒It does sound like there was a delay with the uber eats driver and we will reach out to them to find out what happened. We never want our customers to receive their pizza cold and are sincerely sorry for this inconvenience. Hopefully you decide to give us another try and maybe even stop in and visit us in person😄Mahalo for your business!
This is a locally-owned restaurant that's been around in various forms for decades, so I like to support them. Nice to have a vegan option on the menu! The crust was tasty and a nice texture, but the pizza didn't seem to have the familiar oregano-thyme-basil flavor that you might expect. It was great to have non-dairy cheese as an option, but its flavor was extremely mild. Magoo's, if you're reading this, please add some oregano and double-up on the vegan mozzarella.
Honestly, we always wait for the weekends to have the best vegan pizza at What it Dough. But it was the middle of the week and we were having a major “we need pizza” day. We anxiously awaited the clock to turn 4pm as that’s when they opened. We quickly ordered a large pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage and waited counting the minutes until our delivery would arrive. The pizza was expensive, and add on the delivery fee and it was nearly $50! We really thought we were in for a treat.
We brought it up to our place, quickly opened the box and the disappointment started there. The pizza is square! Who want a slice of pizza from the middle with no crust?!? Well, didn’t really make a difference in the long run, as the crust tasted and felt like cardboard the whole way around. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. The vegan sausage was actually very good. On the cheese front, I’ll tell it like it is, it’s extremely sticky cheese, I believe it’s follow your heart, but not sure as they don’t mention what brand it is. So that’s a bit that many will contend with as they may love that cheese.
I really wish I could say something better as we were so hopeful we may find good weekday pizza, but the truth is in the leftover pizza that has been sitting in my fridge for days (usually it’s gone by the next morning)
Anyways, maybe this type of pizza is up your alley.
Aloha, Im sorry you didn't enjoy your food😒We do appreciate your business and always strive for happy customers. We hope you decide to come back in the future and give us another try. Mahalo!
