Lots of delicious options - Edit
We were in Rome mid November, there’s so many vegan options and clearly labelled on the menu. The food was incredible and reasonably priced, we ate here a total of 3 times during our stay. The staff are absolutely lovely too.

Campo de’ Fior-yay - Edit
The vegan options are many - it was a challenge to make a choice! The pizza was really good and I had the humus as a starter. I wish I’d known about this before my last night in Rome as honestly I would have just come here. Some decent wines too, by the glass. Very affordable. I’m impressed. Attentive staff too, helpful and responsive but didn’t hover.

Best Vegan Lasagna - Edit
We ordered the vegan Rigatoni and the vegan lasagna, both were amazing but the lasagna was genuinely the best vegan lasagna i’ve ever eaten. the manager was vegan too and came to speak to us she was extremely warm and friendly and gave us a free shot of limoncello.

A must visit - Edit
Everything about this restaurant was great - the food, service and ambience. We loved it that much we also went to the other Origano restaurant near the Trevi foundation! Definitely visit this restaurant during your time in Rome.

Many vegan entrees & salads available! - Edit
We were shocked to find that most restaurants in Italy actually do not serve fresh, mixed green salads. This place has salads- and many vegan options to choose from! We really enjoyed the vegan lasagna. The service was attentive and the price was reasonable. Would definitely go back to try other options!

Great food - Edit
Very clearly labeled vegan options with at least 4 vegan desserts. I like this place because you can go with someone who isn’t vegan and not have to compromise what you’d like to eat. Very tasty food, good portion sizes, but terribly slow service at times. I got a creamy gnocchi dish once and a pizza once, both very good.

Mezzaluna 15/10!

Good Calzone - Edit
It’s hard to find a vegan calzone, even in Rome. But Origani didn’t disappoint. The service was friendly too. We went another time after really liking it the first time.

Vegan options disappointing - Edit
The Roman artichoke appetizer was flavorless and a bit of a letdown. I got the vegan carbonara for my main dish and it just tasted like salt and heavy cream. Was some of the least enjoyable pasta I’ve ever eaten. Was excited for dessert before coming but ended up not even wanting to stay for it.

Absolutely amazing - Edit
Wish I could give it five stars because this was one of the greatest meals we’ve had in Rome. Having a non-vegan SO, it’s always tricky to find a place that we both would love and this was definitely IT. I had the vegan fried vegetables as appetisers, an amazing lasagna as main and the tiramisu for dessert. Overall, the atmosphere was great too. Would recommend!

The lasagna was amazing with saiten and cheese, also the Pasta and gnocchi! We ate vegan toromiso for desert but it was not that good. The food it self was one of the best.

Great meal - Edit
Would have given them 5 stars if Happy Cow would allow it! Unlike previous reviews we had good service and really enjoyed the food. Lots of vegan options. Had two great mains (the vegan lasagna was the highlight of my meals in Rome and the pesto gnocchi was good). Chocolate mousse was great (and very rich!) and the ?orange cake was moist and tasty. Would definitely go back.

Mediocre food - Edit
My husband and I ate here hoping for good vegan options. Unfortunately the vegan risotto with artichoke contained lots of inedible tough artichoke leaves with very little artichoke heart. When I mentioned it they said that artichokes are not in season. Why not change the entree to something in season - mushrooms, carrot, pesto, etc. Presumably they are chefs. My husband enjoyed his vegan carbanara, and I noticed lots of it leaving the kitchen, but it was not a dish to look back on fondly as a highlight. I have to agree with another reviewer who said that the place is very popular with tourists (they called it a tourist trap - I wouldn’t go that far). While we were there, 3 large groups of American tourists came in led by tour guides. The shtick is that they get to learn how to make individual pizzas, which is fun, but that doesn’t make up for mediocrity in other dishes. I can’t rate this restaurant’s food higher than a 3. They still have a ways to go.

Food was okay, service terrible - Edit
Food was good, not great but not bad either. They have a lot of vegan options but the service... Let me put it like this: the waiter forgot our orders twice, I've been ignored 3 times and when we ordered dessert (vegan tiramisu) we've waited 40 minutes and then went to pay without getting the dessert, just to be informed that they don't have any tiramisu left... Could have saved 40 minutes of my life by getting this Info when we ordered it.

Many great vegan options - Edit
They offer multiple vegan dishes with simple and good substitutes for ham, cheese etc. You can order also wholegrain dough for your pizza without extra cost. The food I tried was pretty good and for a reasonable price in Rome. The restaurant is also in a good location for a tourist by foot and the staff was super nice. I can only recommend it!

Wonderful! I would give 5 stars if I could. We got the bruschette- amazing! It consisted of a mushroom spread as well as the most delicious traditional tomato. Our main dishes were the vegan carbonara— so good ( I believe the vegan bacon used in this dish was tofu😄perfect, simple) and the vegan risotto— artichokes, beautiful, so good! Definitely want to come back before we leave to try more. Recommend!
