I would give 5 stars for the mousse alone if I could - Edit
The food here is absolutely incredible but the piece de résistence is the chocolate mousse. It almost rendered me to tears it was so good.

Good food, very friendly staff - Edit
I had the vegan spaghetti carbonara and the vegan tiramisu. Both were very tastefull. My boyfriend had the non-vegan versions of the carbonara and the tiramisu and he was also very satisfied.

Loved it - Edit
We came here twice and would have come back more if we had more time. It was really nice to try traditional dishes veganised, like carbonara and cheesy pizza. The staff were lovely and were excited to see us back the next day. They made us feel welcome and offered us limoncello.

Best vegan pizza ever! - Edit
Went here twice in 24 hours (diner and lunch) and really had the best vegan pizza I ever ate! I had the vegan cappriciosa with wholegrain base. The cheese and tomato sauce tasted just like the original. The dough was thin and the crust was crunchy but still soft inside. Really loved it. Staff is friendly and service is very quick. Prices are really fair for this location and quality of food. Also went to Refugio Romano and i would definitely prefer Origano: better pizza, quicker service, better location.

WOW!! - Edit
It's hard to impress me since I've been vegan for 6 years and visited many countries. This place is one of the best!! The vegan pizza is amazing, went with 8 other family members and we all loved the place. Thank Origano for giving me a good start on my Rome trip! I wish I could give this place five stars

Fantastic! - Edit
Lots of choice for vegan dishes, with the opportunity to taste a number of different classic Italian dishes (including different pizzas, pastas and deserts). We had the diavola pizza (vegan) and the polpette meatballs, both of which had us saying "is this really vegan?!". Really lovely staff, reasonable prices and delicious food, would definitely recommend a visit.

VEGAN CHEESE AND TIRAMISU - Edit
Please, if you visit Rome, do yourself a favor and eat here at least once.
Read moreWe were in Rome for ten days and had dinner at Origano five times, plus lunch once, then went back for takeaway pizza for the car ride back home. That's how good this was.
This gave us the opportunity to try out almost everything vegan they have on the menu, which is quite a lot.
We usually didn't do appetizers, but tried the bruschetta which was fine but nothing to rave about. But don't stop reading, because everything else was!
All the main courses we tried I can give nothing but positives about. Both the pasta and pizza comes with plenty of vegan cheeses - yes, multiple different cheeses - and vegan meats like bacon, ham and sausage. The pizzas have great white or red sauces and amazing tasteful rich crusts. Their pasta is also really good, I was ecstatic to enjoy the first real carbonara I've had in years. We also tried the meatball dish which were very tasty and a welcome change from pizza and pasta every night.
Add to this three desert options, from which we had two: a great chocolate mousse and honestly mind-blowing tiramisu. Yes. Vegan tiramisu. It was so good I could cry. And I don't even like tiramisu. The tiramisu alone is reason enough to visit Origano.
So to conclude - the menu is amazing.
Add to this that they serve good wines for about half the cost of the same bottles at other restaurants (starting at 12 euros a bottle, whereas most restaurants start off at 20), very reasonably priced food, plus just amazing service - the sweetest guys and girls and a wonderful host! There's really nothing negative to say about this place.
I could not give five stars, but it deserves it, even if not completely vegxn.
Pros: Vegan cheese pizzas, pastas, and TIRAMISU, Wines at half the price of other restaurants, Wonderful service

One of my favourite places in Rome! - Edit
Several price worthy vegan options on the menu, so if you have a hard time choosing: go for the carbonara! Actually went there twice to eat the carbonara again. Both the vegan tiramisu and chocolate mousse are amazing. If you want good, vegan Italian food, this is the place!

Perfect service from the waitresses and comfy inside, outside seating too. The bruchetta was amazing and the carbonara was out of this world! I had to get my boyfriend (not vegan) to try it as I thought it may have been normal but it's just that good!! Would happily go again♥️

Amazing carbonara - Edit
Their carbonara is incredible. So creamy, but with the right amount of umami. We came back again the following day to try something different. I wasn’t that hungry so I got an artichoke appetiser and my boyfriend ordered the soy escalope - both were very oily but edible.

We ordered one of the vegan pizzas and the carbonara. The pizza was nice but we both decided we would re-order the carbonara again if we visit, and one of the other pasta dishes. Would give 5* if it would let me!
