We stopped in from out of town not knowing what to expect. They have a large variety of plant based products and the staff were really friendly. We were looking for lunch and had their vegan TLT and Tofu sandwiches, croissants and smoothie which were delicious. We loved the variety of options they offered, the fresh produce and unique plant based products, aka banana brownies and other amazing homemade treats. Definitely on the more expensive side, however it was worth it for the trip.
I find this place VERY charming and awesome. The whole deli is vegan and i love stopping in for coffee and a cookie while I shop for some vegan cheeses and local, vegan cosmetics. It can be expensive but it's a local cooperative that I love to support. This is a great place for me, living in the west end and needing a place in walking distance to pick up some vegan goodies and my face wash, Moisturizer, etc. It's honestly a huge part of the vibe of the area that i love.
This tiny granola-esque co-op packs a lot into a small space: their selection of vegan grocery items is on par with bigger Winnipeg venues like Vita Health on Osbourne; they have a more-than-decent organic fruit and veggie selection (including awesome juicy dried dates), a nice vegan chocolate section at the front, and, best of all, a vegan deli counter (with plenty of gluten-free options). The location is cute, too.
However: I am updating my review and knocking off a couple of stars to include fair warning about their produce pricing. This place recently tried to charge me - and I kid you not - $19.99 for a small bunch of organic asparagus! When I questioned it, the staffer said, without a whiff of shame, "Yes, $37 a kilogram. Asparagus is pretty pricey right now." I politely declined the vegetable and bought the equivalent (nicer, actually) from my local grocer for $4.99 - pricey enough, but nothing compared to $19.99! Caveat emptor, and check your receipts. I'm all for supporting local, but that's... something else. 😳
This is a nice little shop not too far away from our Airbnb on Chestnut. We found everything that we needed for our super-long 40hr train ride to Montreal(no vegan food in the dining car:( )
The guy working in the store was super friendly. The deli has fresh juices and smoothies, and we got some fresh hummus and tempeh patties...can't wait to try them.
Love the hummous sammies! Best place for mad conversation, organic chocolate indulgence and fresh veggies. Cant beat the power of the smoked organic bison sausage. Very persuasive. Guaranteed to weaken even the hardest veggo.

Only been once, has a good selection of vegan items I routinely buy. Prices are a little more, but not by much. Friendly staff.
