Had a lovely experience at Ora. The service was really friendly and the food was outstanding - the seitan dish was especially delicious. My third(?) tiramisu of the week and possibly the best!

I was looking for a place that was vegetable forward, not just vegan versions of classic Italian food. My husband and I found this spot, and we're glad we did. Everything we ate was delicious, all made with fresh ingredients! The menu changes seasonally, so what we ate might not be available when you go.

Everything tasted amazing! Unfortunately the food was so good that I forgot to take photos.
The staff was super kind and gracious. I would recommend this establishment, for sure.

Read moreUpon arrival we received a deep fried artichoke in a vegan cheese sauce, and then we opted for the arancino, the vegan carpaccio, the testaroli, and the seitan with carrot cream and gremolata. For dessert we had the tiramisu, and our server was kind enough to fix me up a small plate of their vegan cheeses for dessert, since I was very curious about them and we'd earlier opted out of the vegan platter.
All the dishes were very tasty, the highlight for me being the different vegan cheeses that were served throughout the meal, which were made from chickpea flour and fermented. The seitan was another standout; tender and very nicely seasoned. But really there was no miss with any of the courses.
Our waiter was kind, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. The only thing that maybe left something to miss was the location of the resturant, as it was a little bit off on a quiet street. But really that's a very minor detail.
I would highly recommend this place!

We came here on our last night in Florence and were so glad we did. The food is fantastic. A really lovely setting, with really comfortable seating (lacking in a lot of other vegan/veggie spots in Florence!) and a really great price point on the food despite being marketed as a more fine dining establishment.
Read moreThe vegan cheese board was absolutely stunning. We've missed great cheese since being in Italy, but Ora shows there's no reason the Italians can't make brilliant vegan cheese! The cold cuts with the board too were really nice, especially the salami style one.
The gnocchi was absolutely delicious- such a bold and tasty ragu. The tagliolini was also good, a much more delicate flavor with some nice pepperiness.
Really good strudel, and a very good ladyfingers layer in the tirimisu.
The vast majority of the menu is vegan (just make the last step Ora!) so would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence!

Tuscany isn't too veg-friendly, and at some point you'll have had one too many schiacciate and other sandwiches. ORA provides a nice change from all that.
Read moreIt's close enough to the tourist center while still being a bit out of the way. The interior is very pleasant and the staff are friendly. The food overall is not as cheap as at some other places, but it's not too expensive either.
My one disappointment was with one of my dishes: a "beef Wellington" that was a pastry wrapping an indifferent beet(?)-ish filling that seemed designed for its look but was not great at either flavor or texture. But I'll just put it down to a creative effort that didn't work out! (Definitely wouldn't order it again, though.)

Tried this place a little on accident when we were hungry walking late and saw the menu on the door had vegetarian and vegan food, come to learn it's one of the top rated in Florence, for good reason! It ended up being one of our favourites in Florence. The interior is nice, the atmosphere was calm, and the staff were friendly. I had the Pumpkin Gnocci which was sweet and creamy, would recommend!

A little further out the center but still easily reachable by foot. We went there right when it opened (didn’t need a reservation) so the service was super quick. I had homemade black kale pasta (which is apparently a local vegetable, I’ve never had it before) and it was really nice. The coberto charge included a small appetizer (zucchini cream) and homemade bread in different kinds, which was partially still warm. The price was also reasonable. Would for sure recommend and come back next time in Florence.

I was happy to try out „italian food“ in florence which was quite difficult in non veg restaurants. Atmosphere was nice and calm in the restaurants and the staff was friendly. Prices were okay and food was presented very nicely and tasted good 👍🏻

We had the best meal at Ora while in Florence. The staff were so nice and helpful and the food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful. Most of the menu is vegan and is clearly labelled. Booking is probably a good idea, as it got quite busy around 8pm.

Me and my friends had a lovely time at ORA! The atmosphere was relaxed and nice, the staff was very nice and helpful in all aspects. We loved the food and ended up full and satisfied. Definitely recommend their vegan cheesecake!
