Peng

They have quite a few vegan options but you need to specify that you want certain dishes vegan as some say they are vegan but aren't (stew I had which said vegan but the cous cous was actually cooked in butter). But the staff were very knowledgeable and the food was [censored] peng. Fried cauliflower was really good and the chocolate pumpkin tart was bad boy.

Cons: Quite expensive but for me worth it after eating, Nepalese food for 3 weeks!

Good food, good service, great view

We ate here twice, delicious and filling meals. Varied large menu in English. Lots of vegan options. Slightly more pricey than other veg restaurants in area but larger portions. Really enjoyed and recommend.

Light meal

we had a higher expectation of this place so we were a little dissapointed. Juli buddha bowl was good if u are looking for a light meal. We ordered french fries which was hard to eat seemed old, so we exchanged it for pumpkin chocolate vegan tart which was really good!

Pros: Lovely view and seating area , Good for light meal, Friendly staff

Cons: Had higher expectation of the food

Delicious vegan dinner

This restaurant has a great lake view. The interior is really cozy. The food is a bit pricey but delicious. We had the OR2K platter. We asked for the vegan version of it and it was delicious. We indulged and tried both vegan desserts on the menu: the vegan creme brûlée and the pumpkin chocolate pie. Both were equally yummy. We’re coming back tomorrow for brunch to try their smoothie bowls.

Pros: Vegan options clearly visible in the menu, Great lake view, Atmosphere

Cons: A bit pricey

FANCY BUT NOT GREAT

The orders are always messed up or you order a vegan option and they give you non vegan dressings all the time we have had to complained here so much and u expect for the high prices plus tax of 13% and service charge of 10% on top of the menu prices that the standards would be much higher Kathmandu OR2K do a much better job

Pros: Nice building and views

Cons: Everything else

Great view

I went there at least 3 times while in Pokhara, food is decent but I missed a bit of personality. It is also pricey but the place is well located and has excellent lake view.
Think twice before ordering the chocolate pancake it is very thick and again not much flavour in it, on the other hand the pumpkin pie is great!

Pros: Atmosphere , Lake view, Pumpkin pie

Cons: Missed flavour , Expensive

Nice break

Great location, good variety of food that was well presented and very tasty. Portions could have been larger, and so too the timing of food - my meal came out 10mins after husbands. Would eat at again.

Pros: Vegan options , Fresh food

Cons: Timing of food, Portion sizes

Love their combo plates

In the menu you find some pages of vegan options. Also their Turkish or falafel plates are super delicious. Also good place for people with gluten allergy.

Pros: Good plate of dishes , Gluten-free

Cons: Expensive

Nice place to hang out and good food

Mediterranean and Eastern Cuisine

Falafel, hummus and tahini or Dal Bhat with rice, this restaurant has many vegan options and can easily customize non-vegan items on the menu to vegan. They have date syrup and coconut milk to substitute for honey and dairy milk.

Great place to work with a beautiful view

My fiance and I ate lunch at OR2K multiple times while in Pokhara - they have a clearly labelled vegan menu and the views of the lake are unbeatable. The wifi was spotty, but we were able to sit for a few hours and do work here. It was never overly crowded, and had tons of sitting space. The food is delicious!

unique atmosphere and many vegan options

Israeli restaurant with unique atmosphere. Vegan dishes are marked in the menu, but not very accurately. You should specify that you want them vegan and make sure they are vegan because sometime it's wrongly marked or it could only be made vegan per request.
Some dishes are great but some aren't.
Prices are really high: after two dishes, hot drink and a dessert (which wasn't the vegan cream brulé cause they didn't have it although it's written in the menu as a vegan dessert), ended up with 1375 rupees bill..
Falafel and mint lemonade are recommended, hummus isn't.

Pros: many vegan options, nice atmosphere

Cons: vegan marking is not accurate, expensive

Love it

Terrific and extensive menu with loads of vegan choices. The hummus is fantastic and the warm bread it comes with delicious. Falafel plate is good. Least favourite was a curry with couscous but the other dishes truly made up for that. Fabulous views over the lake.

Pros: Hummus is amazing

don’t trust the menu

Vegan items are marked. I ordered a clearly marked vegan dish, and it came with a large bowl of yogurt and two side dishes containing dairy. Thank goddess I inquired to double check after dipping my fork in. I was told by the wait staff that those marked as vegan are options and you must inform them. I was too skeeved out to try again, even though the very kind owner offered me another chance.

Another reviewer was right, the lemonade will make your day. Especially on a hot afternoon.

Tasty food, nice view

The menu is all vegetarian and vegan dishes are clearly marked. However, the vegan mark is incorrect most of the times (they say a dish is vegan but maybe it has eggs or honey), so make sure to tell the staff that you want it VEGAN. For example, naan is NOT vegan here. Luckily they know what vegan means! We had a delicious pad Thai, 100% vegan. I had a fresh salad (vegan). My husband ordered a mushroom veggie burger, but the patty was too thin and greasy. We shared hummus, good but dry, with no oil (disappointing). The view was very beautiful, you see the lake. The place is expensive compared to many others in pokhara, however food is good and location great. I do recommend it, but some places in pokhara are better to experience the Nepali mood.

good range of vegetarian and vegan food

This is probably the best place to get a variety of vegetarian and vegan food in Pokhara. The food is great, the portions generous and there's so much to choose from. There is however a little confusion in what's vegan and what's not as sometimes you get one type of bread and other times another. There's also a lack of consistency with serving sizes.

This place is great for chilling out and making use of the wifi.

Pros: good menu, wifi

Cons: slow service

Delicious and varied Veg menu

My favourite restaurant both in Pokhara and in Thamel. So many delicious veg options to choose from! Food envy for everything that arrived and happily satisfied with everything each time we came. The combo platter is amazing, as are the salads and veggie sizzler. Everything is awesome. Great decor, chilled music, service is quick and very professional. Definitely a must visit!
