Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr, sehr nett, und der Service war super freundlich. Ich kann Omas Backstube zu 100 % empfehlen und werde bestimmt wiederkommen, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Wien bin. Ein echtes Genuss-Erlebnis.

Sacher cake only available as a mini cake—you can't get a slice 🥲, €12.90, but it was delicious. We also got two slices of layer cake, €5.40 each. One was hazelnut (tasty, a classic), and the other had poppy flower jelly and banana mousse (the jelly was too bitter for my taste—I wouldn’t get it again). The place is small but well-stocked and the staff are really sweet and kind. In my opinion, definitely worth trying if you're in town.

My mom and I hiked to this place with hopes of trying either vegan Sachertorte or Kirschtorte before we left Vienna. Honestly, walking in and finding out there weren't slices of either of them (left?), my initial reaction was a bit dissapointed.
Read moreThe selection of vegan cakes was however still very large, and we ended up choosing the raspberry chocolate and banana flavours. Both of the slices were tasty and light, possibly even a bit _too_ light. It was, for example, impossible to have all layers of the banana cake in one forkfull, as the hard chocolate and banana seperated easily from the foamy mousse layer.
Alongside with the cakes we had a cappucino and lupin "coffee" with oat milk. I've never tried lupin before, and the discovery was truly lovely! I would come back just for it, especially with some sachertorte on the side.

Online fand ich einige Informationen dass es auch vegetarisches hier geben soll, als ich die Besitzerin dann gefragt habe was vegan sei meinte sie dass ihr gesamtes Sortiment dies ist. Ein wirklich kleiner, feiner Laden mit riesen Auswahl von frischen, hausgemachten Kuchen, Torten, Desserts und Gebäck. Quaint and cozy little bakery with a lot of different cakes, cookies, bars, tarts, etc. I’m not entirely sure what I got, but it was delicious and chocolatey!

Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Very authentic bakery from Vienna with so much love and passion. The staff is so lovely and passionate. We had Linzerkipfl, Maracuja Stangl and Erdbeer-Schoko Torte and it was absolutely amazing.

I went for the sachertorte, but disappointingly they no longer sell it by the slice; you have to buy a whole one at nearly €13. I had the chocolate tart instead, which was good. Contrary to the description, they do accept cards now.

I love this bakery, the cakes look beautiful and are delicious! There is a small seating space inside, 3 small tables for 2 people each. Otherwise you can take away and eat at the nearby Augarten😄

Disappointing Strudel - Edit
I wanted to try a vegan Strudel when I was in Vienna, and decided to go here. The place is tiny and not really cozy. It feels like you're in a kitchen. I had the strudel but did not get any whipped cream - very strange? I got whipped cream after asking for it and it didn't cost extra. That really improved the strudel.

Der Besuch in dieser kleinen, aber feinen Bäckerei war unglaublich toll und positiv überraschend. Nicht nur war das Angebot an veganen Kuchen, Torten und Gebäck riesig, die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Wir waren mehrmals da und waren immer begeistert, vor allem von den Torten. Die Zitronentorte ist wirklich die beste Torte, die ich je essen durfte (Nicht-vegane Torten mitgezählt😉). Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

We had a sugar-and grainfree currant(?) vanilla-cake and an apple strudel here. Both were solid, the apple strudel could have been warmed up a little or have some vanilla sauce or cream on side, as it was a bit plain / dry.

Lovely vegan cafe - Edit
Lucky to have this cafe near our accommodation. We had a really nice oat flat white coffee which came with water. Sweets treats of all kinds but we fancied something savoury so owner made us roasted veg on toasted seeded bread with hummus and vegan cheese - delicious.

A cute little cafe with a lot of vegan pastries like cakes and cookies. I tried the schwartzwalder cake and applestrudle. The schwartzwalder cake was delicious. I was a bit disappointed about the applestrudle. The filling tasted good, not too sweet. But the puff pastry could be better. It wasn't as crispy and layered as I expected. It was a bit dry, I missed for example some whipped cream on the side.

First of all, it's worth mentioning that, although all the baked goods and food is vegan, they do unfortunately seem to have an option for (lactose free) cow's milk.
Read moreThere are loads of cakes and cookies on offer here and most of them look really good. There were different types of cheese cakes (refined sugar-free), apfelstrudel, and other cakes such as Schwarzwalder, chocolate, carrot cake and a strawberry one. We tried the Schwarzwalder and the apfelstrudel. The Schwarzwalder was tasty, moist and had a lovely texture. The apfelstrudel on the other hand was slightly disappointing. We felt that the pastry could have been better as it wasn't flakey or crispy in the slightest. The apple filling was nice. All in all the strudel was a bit dry and we think a little bit of whipped cream on the side could've made a huge difference.The oat milk cappucino was good, no complaints there.
The lady who owns the place was super friendly. Prices are reasonable, we paid about 14 euros for the cake, strudel, a cappuccino and a tea.
Be aware that there is no toilet available for guests.

Full vegan selection to choose from - Edit
The complete offer is vegan, so there is lots to choose from. The cakes look very inviting and are freshly made. We tried the Linzer Kipferl and the Linzer Auge - both were super nice. There is a place to sit inside, but it is very small and can fit maximum two people.
