A must do! Surprisingly decent food

This is a must-do tourist activity. Everything down to the water bucket sink in the bathroom is meant to channel medieval vibes. No potatoes or tomatoes here - just old world fare. Make sure you go for dinner on days/times that they have live music. This place is a bit pricey, but well worth it for all the effort that has been put into the restaurant.

We went for the experience, not the food (there’s only one vegan appetizer and one vegan main), but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the lentil and salad dish. It was super flavorful and actually quite filling. Pleasant surprise!

More Fun Than Filling

A fun concept and worth visiting for the experience more than the food. There are only a couple of vegan options on the menu, but they’re clearly labeled. The vegan dish is mostly salad, so don’t expect to leave full, but it tasted surprisingly good!

Fun vibe

Only one vegan option on the menu but it was very good! The vibe of the restaurant is very fun and worth going to just for that. Nice to have a meal option.

Nice lentil stew

Nice lentil stew, very tasty. You won't get very full though since the sides are mosly salad. Very nice atmosphere as well, they get 4 stars for having vegan food at all in a Medieval restaurant.

Hearty food in a fun setting

The medieval concept is a bit of a gimmick for tourists, but the building itself is beautiful and the service warm. The mushroom soup was delicious, as well as the lentil crackers and humous. Recommend going in the evening to enjoy the moody candlelit setting to its full potential.

Nice lentil dish

The lentil dish was very nice. Especially the salad was great with beans and mushrooms and lots of other things. They also have a vegan starter: Spinach hummus with lentil bread. It was delicious, too, but the same bread is also included in the lentil dish.
I went there twice, because it felt like a very healthy option.

Pros: Large salad with lentils, Nice but of course touristy service, Nice drinks

Cons: Quite expensive

Lentil stew

The lentil stew and spelt were super delicious. I was surprised very positively because this is the only vegan dish on the menu. It was served with a large salad which was incredibly tasty and had so many ingredients that I didn't even recognize all of them but it was still very well balanced. I highly recommend trying out this dish. I will definitely go there again.
