Amazing Pastries - Edit
Visited several times during our stay in Cape Town. Tried the Pain aux Chocolat, Cinnaswirl, Pistachio, Lemon & Poppy Seed pastries and their rusks; also had a Blueberry smoothie and coffee. All were very nice and will last for breakfast the following morning if you can resist. They have a small number of seats inside if you want to sit in. Would advise not getting there too close to closing as they do sell out of some items. Staff are great too!😄

Fantastic pastries and strong coffee - Edit
We have been here twice so far in the 2 days we have been in cape town and have loved everything we've eaten on both trips. This is definitely the breakfast stop I would recommend!

Okja was a lovely little café. We had coffee, the pistachio swirl and cinnamon swirl, which were all delicious - the perfect vegan pick me up! Plus the whole place smelt of pastries 😊

We had 2 different bagels and 2 different pastries. Everything was delicious.
They sell their own vegan milk.
Drinks and food are also possible for take away.
Note that there is self-service.

Read moreI started off with a flat white which was delicious and wonderfully presented. I enjoyed a avo, tomato and hummus sandwich on rye bagel which was so yummy and hit the spot! I saved room for sweets- a flaky almond croissant and a highly recommended cinna swirl by the staff. Everything is SO delicious and makes me want non vegans to try this place out so that they can see and taste how delicious and tasty vegan food is!
Lovely, chilled atmosphere where one can stay, relax and enjoy a delicious bite!! Don’t miss out!!

my go to favorite cafe! it's like something out of a magical chocolate factory. The best staff. The baked goods are made with love right in front of you in their beautiful glass kitchen. Delicious coffee, ice coffee, matcha, cream cheese, cookies, croissants etc.
