Best vegan sushis in Montreal - Edit
They're the very best, period. Also, the sushis are prepared with such great care. Don't miss the nigris.

Amazing vegan sushi - Edit
We went here because it was one of the vegan sushi options around Montreal that had less fruit and cheese heavy options on the menu. We got a variety of rolls to try as a group and they were all amazing. A lot came with mayo on them that weren't advertised to, so if you're not a mayo person be warned its best to say no mayo. The tataki was even coated on mayo. That was my only complaint. The flavours and portions of everything otherwise was great. Will definitely go out of my way to go back when in town.
Read moreLocation was small, unsure if they do reservations or not. You may have to wait for a table but its worth waiting. Street parking only as the restaurant is on a pedestrian only street. Service was also good.
Pros: All vegan, Good variety, Service
Cons: Unadvertised mayo on things

Magical - Edit
This is the best sushi I’ve ever had and probably one of my all time favourite restaurants. The flavour combinations, sauce pairings, and creative use of ingredients will blow your mind. I went with omni friends who were blown away and we ended up going twice during our stay. I had no idea what to order so I asked the server to order for us and this was a great strategy. Some of the options really look like fish - I was a bit weirded out by one of the salmon looking items, but my omni friends devoured it.

Impeccable! - Edit

Best sushis for the family - Edit
Simply the best sushis for the whole family!
Read moreKids love them, even the fussy ones (ok, they have their preferences). The fauxmon is a family favorite, but also the kamikaze (not really spicy and it has tempura tofu). We often get sushi platters and add to it so we can have leftovers. I love the location, just one block from the metro (subway) station.
Even our non-vegan friends love the sushis and ordered there a few time when she was pregnant.
After taking-out sushis, we always stop at Zebulon pâtisserie (sushis and dessert) right around the corner... until they moved March 2025 3 blocks down on St. Denis, now neighbors to La Beignerie (also a great option - donuts - for dessert).
Pros: Fauxmon, Sushi platters, Mid-range prices

Excellent Flavors - Edit
While vacationing in Montreal, we were excited to try the various vegan sushi restaurants. We stayed at a hotel two subways stops from Ohana and decided to have dinner there one night. We ordered the Soupe Miso, Ravioli Frit, the Automne Roll and the Poke Aux Champignon. Each dish was fantastic and the highlight was the Poke Bowl. It was beautifully presented and there was wonderful complexity in the dish. The treatment of the mushrooms was outstanding. It's a relatively small dining room with one large bench table that you can share with other guests. The service was friendly and helpful. It's only a block away from the Number 2 Subway line at Mont-Royal. After your meal, you can try the amazing vegan, gluten-free desserts at Vegateau - which is a 15 minute walk from Ohana.

Can’t give lower than 5 stars - Edit
This restaurant has got to be one of the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to, the menu is large, not only serving sushi but poke bowls, pad Thai and more. The meals are very imaginative with some dishes using black rice and they even had vegan salmon and tuna. From my experience there, I physically can’t give this place lower than 5 stars, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This is the type of place that I would love to come back to so I can try the whole menu if I could. Delicious

BEST VEGAN SUSHI!!! - Edit
I ordered 50 pieces for me and my two friends and not only they have a ton of variety in rolls, also the mix flavours are delicious and mimicking the non vegan sushi. Our server was also really patient and kind, explaining and recommending the sauces for each flavour. Really recommended!!

The place has a really nice atmosphere, with really friendly waiters. We might have been unlucky with our sushi choices, but they all tasted fairly similar and, although tasty, could have been more flavourful
