Really interesting flavor combos - Edit
They’re making some really interesting dishes at Ohana, with a lot of great flavor combinations. I am a fan! Most of the rolls are veggie-forward but they also have a few types of mock fish. The tartare aux champignons is fantastic. The fruit roll for dessert is also fun. It’s also less expensive than some of the other local vegan sushi places, and the staff is really nice and has a chill vibe. Overall, it’s a definite must try!
Read moreUpdate: The more I eat here the more I like it. Stick with the veggie-forward rolls and you can’t go wrong!

Creative - Edit
Fancy vegan sushi! Very creative. I'm only giving 4 stars because I'm not a huge fan of sushi with more than a couple ingredients in the filling, but that's just my preference.

The best sushi I’ve ever had. - Edit
The best sushi in the world is in Montreal and yes it’s vegan. This is a place that lives up to your expectations. Sometimes you see a beautiful picture on Instagram and you go try the food and it’s not great. This was the opposite. This sushi is bursting with flavour. Everything is so so delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly and grateful. I’ve been to beyond sushi a few times in NYC and this is 100 times better. You can taste the love that’s gone into this sushi. We also had amazing miso soup and golden tofu. I will drive from Ottawa to Montreal to go here again. If you’re planning on visiting Montreal, do not skip Ohana Sushi!

The vegan sushi at Ohana is absolutely delicious! Their fake salmon dishes are out of this world and they pay a lot of attention to detail! It was so good, we got some to go to have later that night as well.

Absolutely loved this place. Got five rolls and we literally could not pick a favorite because any of the five could have made a case.

Probably one of the best sushi I have ever had - fresh, generous portions with hands down the very best vegan spicy mayo ever. If it’s a struggle to pick the rolls you want, go for the 30 piece boat. It’s amazing!!!!

Great place! Small family business with excellent service. The sushi was so good! Personally, I still think that Sushi Momo is the best place for vegan sushi In Montréal but Ohana is amazing, too. If you visit Montreal, you should definitely check out both restaurants.

There seems to be lots of great vegan sushi options in Montreal. But if you’re having trouble deciding I really recommend Ohana sushi! The staff were friendly and the sushi was amazing. I haven’t had tempura in soo long and this veggie tempura really tasted great.

Beautiful, delicious vegan sushi - no wait - Edit
I had no idea that Montreal was home to at least five vegan sushi restaurants! The one we had chosen didn't have reservations available (how heartening that it was so busy) so we tried this place which didn't take reservations.

I was there for my friend’s birthday and we were not disappointed! We had fried rolls for appetizer and then a 30 piece chef’s choice. The variety was delicious and savory. We shared a fried banana with coconut ice cream as a birthday treat and it was so delicious! There was so much more on the menu that I want to try so I definitely be going back!

Vegan sushis - Edit
The sushis were ok and it took a while before getting them. I thought it was supposed to be a « fast food place », but it took around 20-25 minutes, before getting my sushis. I definitely need to go back to try other kinds of sushis, to get a second idea of the place and see if they got faster for delivering the food, with the experience.

Tasty, delicious food, and amazing service! - Edit
SO, SO GOOD.
Read moreWe had the Ohana, Volcan, Geisha, Geiko and Bella, and everything was so tasty and delicious.
Our server was super sweet. Really awesome service!
The only possible downside is that they currently don't take reservations, and as it's quite small it might be a problem sometimes. I went on a Tuesday night and there was enough room for everyone to sit comfortably, but I can't speak for more popular times.
(The fact that it's small adds to the ambiance and I love it, I'm just worried it can get crowded.)
Overall, I really loved the food, service and ambiance. And it's also perfectly located, close to Mont-Royal metro station.
I will DEFINITELY come back (I went yesterday and I would already be back if I lived any closer. It's really that good).
