Delicious donuts and more! - Edit
So I was a longtime Oh Doughnuts lover before they closed Broadway for renovations. And after they re-opened they've only impressed me more.
Read moreThe doughnut flavour line-up remains impeccable. The flavours rotate daily, so there's always something new. If you do see something you like on their menu, you should jog down there fast. They don't always sell out, but they definitely do sell out of their specialty flavours more than some of the time.
And my new favourite: the vegan LGBT sandwich. Lettuce, guac, tofu bakon (made in-house), and tomato all on a donut bun. I want to try the rest of their lunch menu but every time I think about this sandwich I cannot resist. (They also have a breakfast menu that is on my to-do list.) I'm not normally one for fake meats but the tofu bakon is ridiculous.
The new interior has plenty of seating. There are often people sitting their studying/having a meeting, so I assume there's decent wifi. Staff are the best.
A warning for those with celiac or other gluten-related issues: they offer gluten-friendly doughnuts, but they are cooked in the same fryer. Staff are very good about informing you that they're gluten-friendly not gluten-free.
Some of my favourite doughnuts (not all were vegan): lemon meringue, banana chocolate fritter, Ferrero Rocher, some sort of fruit curd filled thing (bought for me so I have no idea what it actually was but it was so good)

Lots of options labeled as vegan with multiple locations in Winnipeg. Open until they sell out and sometimes has a buy one get one deal near the end of the day!

Favourite vegan donuts - Edit
They always have such a variety of vegan flavours it’s hard to pick just one or two (I usually end up taking a few for home). Appreciate that they clearly label which ones are vegan and know which ones contain nuts if you ask. Some flavours do sell out early sometimes, and they close pretty early too.

I didn't have much time to give Oh Doughnuts, which was too bad. Because when i walked in and saw all the different options for vegans, I got anxious! How could i choose? I ended up with a pecan maple thing that was just mouth watering.

I love this place. When they first opened I tried going as often as possible, and they always treated me with an extra free donut. Excellent marketing because I could give one away and blow other peoples minds too! Love the flavors, especially the earl grey one. I just wish they were open after 4 pm so I could grab a donut after work.

Amazing doughnut shop! I was there for the Vegan options and 2 out of 3 were fantastic! The best one was the monster doughnut. Flavours change every day so it may be hard to find the same one. It wasn't very busy. The service was fast and pleasant. I can't remember if anything other than doughnuts are sold here. If vegan doughnuts can be this good than why can't they all be vegan?

Oh Doughnuts' vegan doughnuts are really tasty. My all-time favourite is the cherry amaretto. They usually have 4-5 vegan flavours a day.

Delicious vegan yeast donuts - Edit
We were driving across Canada and only spending one night in Winnipeg each way. We discovered this little gem within walking distance of our hotel! First time through they had 3 vegan flavours available: PB&J (jam-filled doughnut with a PB glaze), chocolate sprinkle, & apple fritters. The apple fritters weren't quite ready when we arrived, so we sampled the sprinkle & pb&j ones. Both were fresh & delicious, although we aren't particularly partial to sprinkle doughnuts in general. Generous amount of jam filling. Second time through, the 3 vegan options were chai glazed, cinnamon sugar, & pb&j. All were excellent. Hubbie found the pb&j a little sweet for his liking but I thought it was perfect. He really enjoyed the chai glazed & we both loved the cinnamon sugar. Found these doughnuts to be a bit chewy from what I remember yeast doughnuts to be, but it's really rare to find vegan yeast donuts in such varied flavours so I would not hesitate to recommend & would definitely pick some whenever we're in Winnipeg again!
