Extremely busy, vegan options

One of the few places open for breakfast on Granville Island at 9am. Has vegan muffin options and free oatmilk out for coffee. Understaffed for the demand. Would be nice if they had a vegan yogurt option for the granola bowl.

BeetLT wonderful

Not too many vegan options, BUT the BeetLT was great, we also had a hot chocolate with almond milk, very nice too.

Pros: BeetLT very nice, Nice location

Cons: Bit pricy, Not so clean, table felt sticky

Yummy Muffins!

My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday morning, ordered two muffins, one mocha and one matcha. It was good!

Just ok

Had the breakfast bowl and it was really underwhelming. Not many other vegan options so not worth the trip in my opinion.

Bad service meh overpriced food

I ordered the vegan bowl and it was a lengthy wait to receive it. When I finally got my food there were no beans in the bowl so basically it was just a basic salad. When I asked the counter if they could put beans in it like I was expecting based on a description of the food, they told me they were out of them...I don't mind if you realize you're out of a major ingredient but could you offer an alternative or perhaps a refund? Neither was offered. Shady to serve it with a major component of the dish missing and not say anything. Basically I paid $13 for spinach, tomato and half a sliced avocado that took 30 minutes to arrive. Will not be going back.

Tastes great, long wait time

We just ordered a German style Pilsner and a Beet LT. Took way too long to get anything, even a simple beer. The sandwich was very unique, though. The salty, crispy beets were an interesting bacon replacement. The avocado was a nice addition and the mayo was very tasty. The beer was from the local brewery and was very nice. We sat on the patio and just enjoyed some quiet time away from the chaos of the marketplace.

Beet-L-T 😍

The Beet-L-T and vegan tomato soup were unbelievably good. I loved beets before but this opened my eyes to just another way of appreciating them. SO DELICIOUS.

Pros: Cool spot, good music, coffee options.

Nice lunch

I had never heard of this place and just happened upon it while walking with a friend.

For the size of the menu, it has a fair number of vegan and vegetarian options (snacks, soups, meals and beverages) which are clearly marked.

I had a vegan curry wrap which was tasty, and a side of fries which were delicious - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside.

The outdoor patio is surrounded by greenery and spacious enough for a stroller.

Awesome Vegan BLT

Was a bit weary about having a beets BLT as I am not a big fan of beets but this was amazing, so tasty. Fries were good and had a soy decaf mocha that was really nice. Disappointed though that our drinks orders came in takeaway cups even though we stated that were eating in. They were eco takeway cups but would have been better for the environment if they had used to stay cups. Also great customer service, friendly and casual environment.

Pros: Vegan BLT

Cons: A little bit expensive for the sandwich but worth

wonderful spot

I honestly love off the tracks, their coffee is amazing and the staff are well trained and moderately friendly. My biggest issue with this place is that they must sell out of their baked goods quickly. I always go in just after lunch and the baked goods case looks externally sparse and never has any vegan options left. I'm not sure if it's that they sell out quickly or if they don't stock up enough. I would totally go more often if it was more reliable. I also wish they were open later, many ECU students would make it worth their while being open a few hours later.

Pros: vegan options, great vibe

Cons: not fully vegan, kind of pricey , low stock of vegan baked goods

Overpriced, lax service

A muffin, avocado toast, and an $11 (ack!) sandwich (no sides, just the sandwich!) was $22. Yikes. We waited in a line with several other people while the cashier chatted blithely with the couple ahead of us, showing no concern for the line of hungry people waiting to give her money. The $11 Granville Green sandwich was on the bland side and worth about half what they charged us. The berry muffin was decent, but more expensive than a muffin should have been. The avocado toast was good, but that was about the only thing we felt approached it's worth in cost ($6).

The cashier also didn't tell us what we were supposed to do after ordering. Do we wait to pick up food at the counter? Do they bring the food to your table? Do they shoot it to you from a t-shirt cannon? We just didn't know. I asked another customer who was waiting at the coffee counter and she said she didn't know either, and that she's been waiting five minutes for someone to start making the tea she'd ordered. She waited another few minutes before flagging down one of the half dozen people behind the counter and asking when her tea would be ready and how to get her food. The cashier apologized for not starting it, pointed to the girl emptying the trash and bus buns, and said she would make it. It was another five minutes or so before the tea was made.

My toast took twice as long as the sandwich my buddy ordered, but the guys making the food were really apologetic for the wait, and it looked like they were going through avocado so fast that they couldn't keep up with the demand and that's why my toast took so long.

Wouldn't come back, sorry!

Pros: has vegan options

Cons: overpriced, hard to locate

Good, especially since it's one of few options

Stopped in for brunch as we biked over to the island to eat here and see what's what in the area.

First of, we hated Granville Island. WAY too busy, children running all over the place/in the streets/up to people/etc. Not the restaurant's fault but if you're eating here... make sure you want to be in the area, not worth coming just for the food.

Had the curry wrap, it was "ok" at best. Bland but well cooked. Berry muffin was good, I liked it more than my wife did.

Person taking the order got my latte wrong, but my wife's was delicious.

We also bought some banana bread to take with us for later in the day. It was actually very good, and probably the best part of the visit.

Vegan options very clearly marked and staff was very knowledgable about them.

Pros: Friendly staff, Well marked vegan choices

Cons: Bland food, Made an error on my order, Noisy/Busy area
