Nonya Business? Sure It Is!

Sleek and stylish, this place has a number of positives going for it, the notable of which is the view. Perched on the 44th floor of its host building, I was lucky enough to procure a seat on the balcony to drink in the whole of Dubai whilst imbuing more than a few finely crafted cocktails. Another boon here was the service, fast and efficient, there scant few moments that I was left wanting for tipple. As for the food, I would say that it was good boarding on great. The avocado and the cucumber maki were more than edible, so too were the spring rolls, but the salads, particularly the spicy cucumber, and the range of dumplings were excellent. The same praise can also be levied upon the fragrant (if not tiny) vegetable curry, and the much more substantial, but equally toothsome, Hakka noodles.
The only real sour note of the meal came on the sweet side of things. Having been given no forewarning, the desserts were whisked away and I was left to make do with a rather measly, and ultimately mediocre, ‘exotic’ fruit plate.
Whether or not I would rush to return here is debatable, although enjoyable, I wouldn’t class the dining experience as memorable.
