The use of trite vernacular, heavily rooted in the previous decade for the name of their brand did make me quite trepidatious about placing an order, but I persisted, despite my better judgement.
Read moreThe spiel on the underside of the lid spoke of revolutionising the protein ball world by creating something that surpassed all its other, supposedly chalky forebears (not an issue I can say I’ve encountered too often). I suppose on this count, they succeeded, each ball was moist, admittedly tasty, and rang true of the flavour that it was supposed to be; the pistachio was clear favourite for me. Were they avant-garde? No. Were they minuscule? Yes. For all the hype and bluster, it would have been nice to have more to savour.
A repeat order won’t be on the cards, I think that once was quite enough to get all that I could from them. I will give them this thought, the packaging was excellent.
