Seitan in red wine dish was fab - Edit
Red wine Seitan was delicious, beautifully done potatoes and a nice balances salad, soft seitan and lovely sauce, cannot fault it.

Spicy seitan dish was like a slightly spicy passata sauce, it was ok.
The veg carbonara was misleading, no veggies to be seen but the carbonara itself was fantastic.
Apple pie was good, same with the pear and chocolate pie - very delicately moist and with chunks of fruits - recommend the apple pie more. Could do with either custard or ice cream with the pies as it is quite dry.
Restaurant is very zen and bless the waiter who tried his best explaining the menu to us - he is deserving of 5 stars alone.

Fantastic food: almost fully Italian, with an Indian touch to the menu (...an Italian Thali or an Indian waffle anyone?) Try the truffle tagliatelle for a treat.
Read moreThe people are friendly, and the service is good and quick, if a little quirky, which added to the charm, for the most part... The one negative: Waiter #1 said the tisana came cold, but it arrived scalding hot after they made it fresh. Waiter #2 said they didn't have ice they could give me, so I bought cold water to cool it down. Odd, but... fine😄 **
The bugs were intense outside. Very hot inside in late August.
**EDIT: I spoke with the chef and she said tisana (which is an herbal infusion) always comes hot in Italy, so I probably just misheard the first waiter.

Every time, excellent welcome, always with a smile in every need. Tasty dishes and impeccably presented. If you are around Florence, I recommend going there; it is run by knowledgeable and friendly staff who have been cooking for over 40 years (factual experience). And since life gives us little satisfaction eating at their place is sublimely satisfying. Before the entrance two beautiful Magnolia plants and in between cool tables. You enter and immediately feel a very intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Very clean premises. Then the staff has the ability to put tasty dishes on the table not the usual trivial things, all excellent. From the vegan carbonara (sublime), seitan made by the house, tender and delicious, fresh and tasty salad, meatballs that are a love. You will not be disappointed. Located within walking distance of downtown. What more can I say, for me every time it is a thrill even of gluttony, because the portions, whatever you ask for are not samples but really good portions. And in the event that you find anything that you don't like, let them know because they humbly are happy to improve more and more for them, for you and all their loyal customers. So before you put only 1 star or 2/3/4/5, write a review. Dear Nirvana Veg you will never stop missing me because I will often be there.

Very much hidden from the road, this place is a gem. We sat outside surrounded by fairy lights in the bushes and it was perfect! Food was amazing and very very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was light on the coffee but still tasted great, a must try place!

I asked for the carbonara veg, and it was very spicy which doesn't make sense and wasn't marked on the menu, besides they didn't have ice cubes for the drinks, but still giving a good review because the place has potencial and still has very good quality and the staff were nice.

They have a big menu on which we could not find a single non-vegan item. Maybe we've overlooked it or it changes seasonally ... Anyways: the food was great, nicely served and the staff was also very friendly. Definatly a must if you're in Florence :D

Everything we ate was very tasty! The carbonara pasta and termiso are perfect. The waitress who probably also owns the place is sweet and kind and explained everything patiently. amazing place. I want to go back to eating more dishes.
