First ever vegan cannoli and hopefully not the last, especially if they are as good as Nica Nica.
I got a medium cannoli, which had a delicious creamy chocolate filling, with pistachio and chocolate chips, and a perfectly cooked crispy shell. I also got an excellent coffee.
The owner is so friendly and there is a good selection of other vegan options available.
I haven’t had a cannoli since pre vegan times living in the US so was excited to try this. I got a medium cannoli with an Americano with oat milk. The vegan filling was light and fluffy and not too sweet. They have several plant milks. They also let me taste some sweet and savoury sauces. Staff were very friendly and nice atmosphere.
Giuseppe is a very friendly and knowledgeable owner of this Sicilian coffee and chocolate shop. The coffee is easily the best I've had in Belfast. I got to try the rose chocolate, basil and sea salt chocolate, pistachio creme and dark chocolate hazelnut spread. All are delicious! I also took some vegan cannoli home with me.
While it's not a vegan establishment, it's for sure one of the most vegan-friendly places you will find in the city!
