Mislabeled - Edit

Be careful here if you're vegan. We were excited that all their chocolates were supposedly vegan except for one. In addition to some truffles we got a Halloween candy bar. The seller was the chocolatier herself who said everything was vegan. Well after we left I decided to read the ingredients on the one thing that had ingredients written and it turns out the chocolate had shellac, beeswax, and confectioners glaze in it... All non vegan. The label even has a vegan symbol on it. So now we're not sure if the truffles are vegan or not. Very disappointing.

Gourmet, mostly vegan chocolates - Edit

This is a small outlet of a gourmet chocolatier; located on a side street. The chocolates that I have tried are fantastic. They have some pricey items well suited for fancy gifts, as well as some more reasonably priced items for a special snack.

Most impressive is that almost all the chocolates here are vegan (with the exception of their nougats). This is the opposite from what is typical: most other gourmet chocolate places (including many of those listed on Happy Cow) offer a couple of vegan chocolates, along with mostly non-vegan chocolates, but this place offers a couple of non-vegan chocolates along with mostly vegan chocolates.
