The needles in the haystack are worth searching for

Sadly, it's quite common for health food shops these days to gradually add supplements and/or so-called superfoods, to the detriment of actual food. Such is the case here, where one can scarcely find a handful of nuts, chocolate bars and a few more items. However, it's worth stressing that the hyperinflation supposedly punishing Sweden has resulted in prices at an all-time-high, which in some cases could be twice of what you were paying just a couple of years ago. It just so happens that Naturprodukter may not keep an eye on best before dates; that, coupled with my penchant for bargains, makes it possible to find affordable products when I least expect them. On my last visit I got cashewnut butter (already waaay cheaper than Kung Markatta's, for example) and tamari with a discount of no less than 70%! So, while there may not be much of a range anymore, it is certainly wise to have a look at it from time to time.. especially if you're not concerned your stomach won't be able to handle it.
