I stopped by when I was in Portugal in June. This was a very well stocked natural foods store and the lady running it was super friendly. Definitely the type of business I like supporting!
Good assessment with many vegan cosmetics and foods. It has many great brands like dr. Organic, Weleda, pukka tea. The place has plant milks and superfoods. A bit expensive but still ok to shop.
I'm used to buy expensive organic products and cosmetics but most are grossly overpriced. I would recommend the other health store - prices are more realistic
Came here looking for some cruelty free sunscreen. Found that along with some nice vegan treats - chocolate candy bars, kombucha, and some vegan cheeses in the case
Yes, good place to get some organic vegan food - Edit
So happy to find this beautiful store. If you want to cook some organic food at home, just looking for some healthy snacks or you need some supplements this is the place to go. If you like kombucha you have to try Captain kombucha with Cayenne pepper, it's so good! They also have good quality coconut water which I prefer to drink to alkaline my body. In addition to lots of different drinks. They also had a lot of organic beans and legumes , dried fruits and berries, clean chocolate from good quality brands and a lot of organic teas.
This store has a wonderful choice of vegan foods included refrigerated and frozen items. Most supermarkets stock tofu, seitan and soya milk but this is a brilliant option for more variety including faux meats, vegan cheese, vegan ice cream, vegan mayos and pates, vegan chocolate etc.
Store with good sortiment and good location. Although super expensive, 8 soya hot dogs costs 8 euro and similar costs only 4 euros back home. The vegan cheese is a bad brand thats not very tasty. Staff couldn't tell the difference between safron and tumeric. They rip off monetära from People selling tumeric as safron. But overall experience is okey.
Hugely surprising find in Lagos. Sells all sorts of amazing ranges in veg/vegan foods, ice creams, meats, cheeses, deli items, confectionery and groceries. The fridge section is pretty special indeed packed with tofu, seitan and soya products including items from The Vegetarian Butcher all the way from The Netherlands. They also so a huge range of health supplements, pulses, teas, infusions, vitamins and personal and household cleaning products if that's what you desire. Maybe better than or certainly on a par with the big health food shops in Lisbon.
