Amazing vegan pastel! - Edit
Not a huge fan of the original pastel de nata (don’t love the eggy flavor) so came here to try the vegan version and it was amazing! I had the tiramisu one and will definitely be coming back again while I’m in Lisbon

Absolutely one of the best places for pastel de nata in Lisbon, Nat'elier is a hidden gem! What's more, they even offer a vegan option. They define pastel de nata and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Nat'elier truly embodies the spirit of Portugal’s iconic pastry with its unique pastel de nata concept store. It perfectly balances honoring the traditional 'Portuguese custard tart' with a bold approach to new flavors, both available on the tradicional vegetarian version (with eggs and dairy) but also vegan ones. These days you can find vegan pastel de nata in a couple of places in Lisbon but none of them taste as authentic as those in Nat’elier. Furthermore, besides the tradicional variety, they have fabulous flavors. My personal favorites were the Oreo cheesecake and especially the crème brûlée. Watching the crème brûlée being torched right at your table is fun and results in an exceptional caramelized crunch on the top of the velvety custard. Beyond their innovative pastries, Nat'elier impresses with its eye-catching decor, attentive service, and excellent coffee offerings, including plant milks and unique coffee cocktails. For an immersive experience, their Pastel de Nata Masterclass (in this case focusing on the traditional vegetarian recipe, not vegan), led by a professional pastry chef, is a must-try.
