Amazing Pastel de Nata!!! - Edit
We lost count of how many of these heavenly vegan custard tarts we ate during our week in Lisbon. They come in a variety of options, including cheesecake and tiramisu, but we fell in love with the classic. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is great. The restaurant itself is also very nicely decorated and maintained. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

Best vegan pastel de nata - Edit
I loved their pasteis the nata, the taste, the textruee, size, the crust all amazing. Before their pastel de nata I tried a different brand called Vegan Nata but after trying Natelier, I finally know what a real pastel de nata tastes like, the taste is superior to other brands.

the best pasteis de natas in the world - Edit
i’ve been in portugal for 3 months and can confidently say the vegan pasteis de natas from this place are the best i have ever tasted. i literally can not resist going here every day when i visit lisbon.
Read morethey have a few vegan flavours, the original, cookies and cream, creme brulee, and i think maybe an apple pie. i’ve had the cookies and cream (so yum), original (a classic, can’t go wrong) and the creme brulee (honestly i would die for this) and they’re amazing every time.
there is an abundance of seating, the staff are friendly, the vibes are great!
they also have milk alternatives for coffee etc
they also run a pastel de nata making workshop. i recently enquired to see if they offer this for vegans but they confirmed they do not at the moment, hopefully one day!

Sweet Surprise - Edit
close to the Santa Justa elevator, the pastry shop has incredible vegan options for pastel de nata (traditional Portuguese sweet). In the traditional flavors, tiramisu, oreo and maca and cinnamon, the pastry is perfect for pleasing the vegan public. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are very friendly. worth the visit. I'm not a fan of sweets, I wanted a store in my city hahaha I'm addicted now ❤️🌱

Wow! - Edit
Wow~I’ve never had anything like these. They are creamy, flaky pastries. I tried one of each - an original, a cinnamon apple, an Oreo cookie, and a tiramisu. Actually, they were all my favorite. I also enjoyed a cappuccino with oat milk. They have outdoor seating and a cute 2nd floor. It was a comfortable spot for a sweet, sweet breakfast 🤗

I had the classic pastel de nata and it was so perfect I had to order a second one. They also had 4-5 vegan flavoured ones (creme broule, cheese cake...) but I didn't try them. It's not expensive at all!

Nata place to miss - Edit
The BEST vegan nata I’ve had in Portugal. So crispy and so creamy. They also have soooooo many flavors. The creme brûlée is good, but the apple pie and tiramisu are divine!!!! Oreo is pretty good, but I bit too rich and sweet even for me. The original you can never go wrong with either. They also have oat milk for coffee.
Read moreI’m curious if they teach a masterclass (which they do have a classroom on site) on making the vegan nata.

Wonderful place - Edit
Multiple vegan options, including a few very creative pastel de nata versions, like tiramisu. The coffee is very good as well and they have oat milk.
Read moreThe place itself is located at the heart of Baixa, very close to the Santa Junta elevator. It is beautiful inside, and highly recommended for a break from the street noise.
I happened to chat with the owner, who is a fifth generation pastry chef. He is one of the nicest people I every met. He is really proud of his craft and it shows! Don't miss if you are in Lisbon.
