Bakery with a good mix of quick vegan options - Edit
This bakery offers coffees, teas, chocolate drinks, cocktails, wines, pastries, sandwiches, salads, pizzette, focacce and more. The vegan options (for now) are mainly 4 types of plant based milks, pastries, cookies, pizzette, focaccia, apples and breads. They also have gluten-free options which are clearly indicated. They are in the process of renovating so the owner has said that he plans to add more vegan options soon and clearly indicate the ones he already has. In the meantime he recommends that customers ask his multilingual staff members as they are knowledgeable about all the vegan and gluten-free options. Currently a pastry that is clearly labeled vegan is the vegan brioche.
Read moreI have visited twice and during my first visit I had a macchiato with coconut milk and the vegan brioche which were good. The owner invited me back the next day to taste their vegan cookies as he had sold out during my first visit. Upon my return, I tried the almond flour and almond milk chocolate dipped vegan and gluten-free cookies which was delicious!
Important to note any Italian dishes that are naturally vegan such as plain focacce, pizzette rosse, pizze topped with vegetables and pizze rossa with olives are not indicated as vegan due to them being naturally vegan. Moreover the owner has said that he is currently working on new vegan dishes to add on the menu such as pasta dishes.
