GREAT 100% plant-based restaurant - Edit
I've been wanting to try this place ever since I heard about it. I ordered the signature Buffalo ranch chickun sandwich with chickun fries on the side. The chickun isn't super "chickeny," but it's tasty, and the sandwich is bursting with flavor. The sauces are spot on! I was torn about whether to try the mac and cheese. As I was leaving, a young couple sat at a table near me (in the small back patio that is now open). I heard moans of delight as they dove into their mac and cheese. That was a 100% effective sales pitch.😄I will be back, and I will be trying the mac and cheese! (And their other sandwiches because they all sound great.)
Read moreUPDATE: I've been dreaming about the mac 'n cheese, so I had to go back. LOL I built my own bowl, adding barbecue chickun, slaw, and ranch. Oh my. Every last bite of it was fantastic. The chickun had a great barbecue flavor that wasn't overpowering; the house-made slaw and ranch were excellent; the mac 'n cheese was smooth and creamy. My only "problem" now is that I won't know whether to try another sandwich or build another mac 'n cheese bowl on my next visit!

Super delicious food - great flavor! Food will definitely satisfy any cravings for comfort food that you have. I got the Buffalo Ranch Chickun Sandwich with Mac N' Cheeze as the side. Pretty safe to say I will be back! Good thing I don't live any closer to them or I'd be back daily lol :)

Amazing chikun sandwiches - Edit
You can never go wrong with their buffalo ranch chikun, spicy chikun, or the bbq pulled pork style one. I’m not so into the melts or burgers but I eat their chikun every chance I get. Mac and cheese and fries are great. Husband isn’t veg and loves the buffalo ranch. Inconsistent hours get frustrating. They change all the time and always have. Currently saying open 4-8 but then said the kitchen doesn’t even open until 4:15 so you can’t actually get food any sooner than 4:30 so it’s a small window to plan for and misleading. I’ve been like 30 times though and always enjoy the food.

One of the best tofu scramble with cheese I’ve had at a restaurant. So savory, so full of flavor. Also had a side of biscuits and gravy which was so delicious. The biscuits were melt in the mouth kind. They also had amazing looking burgers which I didn’t get to try. So far Jacksonville hasn’t wowed me with the vegan options, but this restaurant made up for it. If I lived in the area this would become a weekly staple because there food was delicious and the prices were fair not overpriced.

Murray Hillbilly is one of our favorite brunch spots in town! They're consistently good and the prices are reasonable. We love going for brunch and getting the biscuits and gravy on the weekends. The interior is getting cozier and cozier as they start establishing their selves, it's quaint and inviting to anyone coming in the door. This place is a must if visiting Jacksonville!

The Mac and cheese would have been awesome if it wasn’t cold ( they said they could not fix that). The fries were good but we all had three different vegan sandwiches/burgers and all were mediocre. They were having trouble with getting water so we had to go back to car to find water . The bathroom needed cleaning!!!! Had the vanilla cupcake and even that was just ok.

Inconsistent food portions. Expensive as heck for what you’re getting. Female Cashier / Owner not very personable. I didn’t feel welcomed. She just gives you a forced smile. Table staff are very pleasant and helpful. I don’t see this place lasting very long. It’s my 3rd visit and last. They should stick with the food truck.

Have been eating since they dished out from the truck. Love everything but the bread. For a restaurant with many sandwiches, I have never been a fan of any of the bread selections. Now everything in and outside the bread, WOW!

While the service is decent and friendly, the food is overpriced and inconsistent in flavor and portion size. I had hoped they could work out some of the issues after transitioning from the truck to the restaurant but that hasn't happened. Since they are one of only a few all-vegan businesses in NE FL, I would like to keep supporting them but the options and experience they offer just isn't worth it, especially at the prices they charge.

I had the ya reckon sandwich with fries and tried a side of the muenster Mac n cheeze and the hush puppies. Everything was fantastic. The sandwich had amazing texture and taste, would easily order again. The hush puppies were also very good but perhaps a bit too sweet, I wouldn’t order them again but I would happily eat them again. The shining star was the Mac n cheeze. The texture of the cheeze sauce was perfect and delivered a very nice slight smokey taste. This place has great French fries but I would switch the Mac n cheeze as a side every time without a doubt. Highly recommend this place
