Horrible experience - Edit
I was so excited to try this place after seeing good reviews but our experience was terrible. There were gnats everywhere that we were killing at our dusty booth. When our food arrived we finally asked to move spots but the back of the restaurant was just as bad. I can't believe other families weren't complaining.
Read moreWe then found a hair in our appetizer and the mains were subpar. My husband complained about his fries and burger and the manager was combative. They comped us for one whiskey and we left as quickly as possible. The shepherds pie was very salty and the side of veggies was very clearly from frozen.
Pros: Friendly waitstaff
Cons: Gnat infested, dirty, Combative and defensive manager, Gross food

My sister and I went here on a cold rainy night before our early flight home for the holidays and it was a delicious experience. We both got the vegan shepard’s pie and loved every munch of it. 10/10 felt very comforted

Vegan haggis! - Edit
Good prices with some interesting vegan options. My friend had a standard size shepherds pie main (£13) and I had a haggis and mash starter (£7, huge!) with a side of veg (£3, mainly peas so not really worth it and not really needed. Nice to find a place that does the traditional meals but with a vegan option!
