Tasty Korean - Edit
A cute Korean vegan restaurant in Eat London. I ordered a kimchi pancake, the spicy rice cakes and fat rolls.
Read moreAll was tasty, but I felt the ramen was over cooked /too soft, and too much red spicy sauce in the rice cakes.

Authentic and incredibly tasty - Edit
I can genuinely say that this was one of the best meals I ever had. The atmosphere is also great because it’s a small restaurant where you feel like you’re in Korea.

Unglaublich gut - Edit

Tasty and Friendly - Edit
Staff are so lovely and welcoming and the place seems to be run by a Korean family. The food was amazing - I’ve always wanted to try Korean food but never found anything vegan near me so thus was a must visit when in London. I’m not disappointed and am definitely coming back next time i’m down this way.

incredible and special - Edit
my younger sister and i have loved korean food since going vegan 9 years ago, so this place was special. we got white garlic kimchi (which was given to us on the house - so kind!!!), crispy seaweed rolls (also on the house, i think they had extra), a small kimbap roll, the gluten free tofu bibimbap (the only gluten free main) and the spicy rice cakes! it was all delicious and piping hot. it’s a small spot with only several tables but the atmosphere was homey and welcoming. they offer uber eats and do not have a bathroom!
Read moremy sister and i ended up being the only ones in the restaurant after the folks before us left, and we got to talking with Grace, who is in charge. she is an absolutely outstanding, kind, gracious woman who touched our hearts. one of the diners found a small hair in their food, and Grace handled the situation with such empathy. she took responsibility, apologized, remade the dish, gave them a refund for it, and when the girl refused the credit card refund since the dish was remade, Grace gave her cash. the girl left the cash on the table when they finished, and Grace noticed and chased her down to put it in her pocket! such a sweet moment of accountability and respect.
i definitely recommend coming here for some authentic korean food and a nice chat. i’m only visiting london, but if i wasn’t, i’d be a regular there for sure. i cant say enough good things, i’ll remember our conversation with Grace forever 🩷
Pros: delicious, home cooked food, kind and gracious staff, all vegan!
Cons: only one gluten free main, very small, only 3 tables and a few counters

Phenomenal food - Edit
The food and the flavours were like nothing I've experienced before, also very quick service. Unfortunately the space is very small and there's tons of people eating there every day with a long queue outside the restaurant.

Excellent Korean food - Edit
Amazing food, warm and friendly service. Busy at peak time on Saturday night but you can wait outside and get a table when one comes available. It's not the sort of place where you would linger for hours so the tables turn over fairly quickly. Worth the wait 100%

Really delicious authentic Korean food. We had the Kimbap, spicy pork and rice, and tteokbokki - all were phenomenal but the spicy pork was our favourite by the tiniest whisker! The staff are also incredibly friendly and nice. Can't recommend this place enough!!! 😋

The nicest lady owns this place and the food is some of the best Korean food I've ever had! Before going vegan I've had non-vegan Korean food - I think Mukbap's stuff is on par or even better!

Worth the wait! - Edit
I've been wanting to try Mukbap since they opened but rarely venture to London, so on an overnight trip I made it my mission to be the first in the door at opening time, even if it meant I had to find a sheltered corner to wait during the torrential rain!
Read moreThe lady behind the counter was wonderful to speak with, when a family with children came in she had a towel ready for them to dry themselves & even put a heater on so none of us got a chill.
I had the small kimbap, which despite being a "small" was still a very good size. For my main I chose the Bulgogi deopbap as it's one of my favourite Korean dishes but I can't get it quite right. I've only had this with tofu before but the mock "beef" was a welcome change, the sauce was just the right amount of tangy, sweet & slightly smokey. I'm not sure what kind of magic they concocted as even the mushrooms were good & I don't like mushrooms very much!
The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, I had a lovely chat with the other table that came in (the family mentioned before), with one of the children seeing my order & ordering the same thing (I hope he liked it as much as I did!). Others mentioned it's hard to find but I had no problems locating it at all with the help of Google maps.
Yes this is a very small location but it's worth the wait & the journey with some of the best vegan korean food I've had.
I can't wait to return on my next trip!
Pros: All vegan, Lovely people, Warm atmosphere
Cons: Very small, may be hard to get a table sometimes

Amazing Korean food, fresh & delicious - Edit
I took a non vegan friend to Mukbap as my guest and we had a delicious lunch with lots of left overs . Fresh Korean food with a sweet lady who serves and her younger relative who cooks so everything is fresh to order.
Read moreThere is only seating for 8 (table for 2 and 4 and 2 bar stools by window which we had) so it may be better to order and collect.
