The "chicken" was awesome. Maybe the best I ever had. And even when i was still eating meat lol. Really good service and atmosphere.

We were sitting at the pool and ordered some food. Everything we tried was wonderful! If you don’t stay at the hotel, I at least recommend they you stop by and have some of their food or breakfast buffet!

Bit over priced and over hyped. - Edit

I mean, the decor is beautiful, the staff super friendly; if anything a little too attentive and the food was good but not mind blowing. For 2 or 3 times the price of any other good restaurant around.. maybe a lil over hyped. One of our drinks was hideous. Butterfly pea ice tea, you might say you get what you deserve ordering that but it was seriously undrinkable. I’d maybe go back to try vegan buffet breakfast but not for a la carte

Nice place disappointing food - Edit

We thought this would be a good venue for a quiet date night. The location and the venue are very pleasant and along with the friendly and polite staff makes for a good start.

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, we order traditional Thai dishes. On the menu the food looked good but when served it’s obvious the images are close ups because the dishes are small for the price as are the drinks. An additional disappointment is Thai dishes being bland, missing both on the usual herbs and variety of vegetables. Ingredients are mostly coconut milk and noodles, really uninspiring.

There are far better restaurants within fairly easy walking distance.

Worst service and food for vegetarian/vegan - Edit

Service was poor.
Food taste not good
Food came after 25/30 min and at separate intervals thereafter for all family members. Last person meal came after everyone else had eaten after 2 more reminders.
Completely ruined our evening.

Probably the worst food eaten and evening during stay in Chiang Mai.

Breakfast could be better - Edit

One of the only places near our hotel that opened at 7. Only a few vegan breakfast options- waffles, bread, fruit, and croissants. They had dinner options there as well. Most of the food was lukewarm and not great. And for $12 USD per person, I kind of expect better. I will say the banana pudding was outstanding.

Spicy tempeh - Edit

The only dish that I disliked was tempeh with bbq sause. There’s no mention on grab that there’s chili or that it can be spicy. All the other dishes were yummy! Forgot to take a pic of miso soup that was deli as well #Veganuary

They use honey so I don’t consider this a fully vegan restaurant. The food was good and the place well kept with nice art.

The most amazing thing to mention about the breakfast buffet is: it’s amazing to experience a fully vegan breakfast where you don’t need to worry about anything.

Compared to non-vegan breakfasts in terms of assortiment, this could be much better. No nuts at all, no different yoghurts, vegan omelet, padthai or any other noodle dish, fruits were limited. You could make your own juice with a machine, while on the photos you see a fruit and veg basket, in reality it was only watermelon & cucumber. I was unfortunately not impressed.

Another important element: Almost all the hot dishes were empty around 9 am, while it’s open until 10.

So I hope in the coming days I see a difference…

The vegan breakfast buffet is 👌
The cooked options change daily. My room offer also included a Thai desserts platter which was lovely. Would love to visit again.

WOW - best place we visited in Thailand - Edit

First of all it’s located inside a fully vegan/vegetarian hotel - how cool! It’s a little on the fancier side but we were blown away at how delicious and high-quality the food was. They have some authentic classics like Khao Soi but there’s lots more on the menu to explore. Wish we could go back, what a treat!

I stayed at the hotel and ate here several times, and everything was delicious. The decor is lovely and the restaurant is air conditioned, which is great when it's so hot out!

The portions are large and beautifully presented, and service is very friendly.

I enjoyed various options from fruits to soups and salads and noodles etc - I had such a feast! I ate to keep me full all day ☺️ lovely ambience and great staff.

Normally I order Khao Soi when I see it, but it had the word mushroom a few too many times on the menu. I went the green curry which didn't disappoint. My husband had the pad krapao and kids the pineapple rice, they would have liked to have more flesh left in the pineapple to scoop out.

I went for dinner and this was one of the best experiences I had in Thailand. Every dish was excellent and Moreganic had a great combination between innovative dishes that still showcased familiar local ingredients.

Most of all I recommend the Kao Mok gai which had such tender vegan chicken and such flavorful rice.

The service was so good and so sincere here, we loved it. If you're hesitating, please go! We asked to sit outside, when we were taken outside it turned out there were no tables set up outside but they set one up specially! (it was quiet and valentine's day)

Awesome buffet - Edit

An all vegan hotel and restaurant offering buffet breakfast for hotel guests as well as walk ins. 269 Baht per person for a very rich breakfast including fresh veggies and tropical fruits, pastries, cereal and a wide offering of cooked Thai food. Great coffee and fresh juices also available. Highly recommended for “big eaters”.

Lovely location, reasonable prices.

Recently tried the new buffet breakfast. Reasonable value at 250 baht per person. No croissants on the day we ate there, which was disappointing so call ahead if that's a deal breaker for you!

Further update on the breakfast buffet... they have expanded the food options to include more Thai food, more bread options, mini croissants and cinnamon Danish, and a juicing machine. Also offering Boncafe coffee and freshly made lattes and cappuccinos with soy and oat milk. Very good value.

Excellent vegan organic food - Edit

We had a nice dinner here. You order of the menu. There is a good selection. We absolutely enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Such a nice variety of local dishes as well as different baked goods! They could do a better job keeping the hot food at temperature. We noticed at that several of the pots the heating candles were off. Good coffee and tea drinks as well. #Veganuary

We ended up close to this restaurant while out and about and came in for an early lunch. It was a beautiful, light and cool space, nicely decorated, and staff were very attentive. We ordered the grilled ham and cheese sandwich and the chicken biriyani rice. I started off with a divine mango and coconut smoothie with soy yoghurt. Delicious and satisfying. I was a bit worried the sandwich wouldn’t be big enough, but with the time the chips and salad on the side it was plenty. The rice dish was not what I expected, in a good way: I substantial amount of very nice vegan chicken with tasty rice. A little bit fancy, this is a good place to meet for a nice lunch (if you’re not already staying in the hotel). #Veganuary

We saw all the great reviews and came here for lunch, hoping that the other reviewers were correct. They really were. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the service was great and the food was outstanding. The paprika 'chicken' and the red curry tofu in particular were awesome. My wife loved the Hawaiian pizza with its light, fluffy base too. I told them it's the best red curry I've ever had!! The only complaint was the red curry needed more actual red curry as it ran out way too early.

A great restaurant in a quiet setting - absolutely worth the visit, if you don't mind paying a little more for yummy vegan food.

Amazing breakfast - Edit

As part of our stay at Away we got free breakfast here. Every day we were spoiled for choice— they had different dishes every day, and everything was delicious. The servers are so nice and quickly remembered our room number and drink order 🥺 Thank you for making our stay extra special!
