Organic and natural food market chain. Offers selections in fresh organic produce, vegetarian and vegan alternatives like soy milk, ready-to-eat meals, and groceries. Open Mon-Sat 9:00am-9:00pm, Sun 9:00am-8:00pm.
This place is down the street from some family I was visiting and I'm very pleased to have had such a great vegan resource. Lots of tasty ready made vegan meals and products. If I had one near me in NY, I would do all my grocery shopping with Mom's.
They just expanded this location and it rocks! They have so many vegan products i cannot find other places. Roots may have more vegan stuff, but i find Moms is cheaper overall. They also have a huge bulk section, including wellness items like cocoa butter and salt scrubs. The company really cares about being eco-friendly.
The MOMs Jessup location recently expanded and now have expanded bulk section, DIY bodycare and a juice/cafe is coming soon! This was already one of the best grocery stores in the area and now it is getting even better.
I do my weekly grocery shopping here. I love everything about Mom's. The produce is fresh, varied (always something new to try), and all organic. They carry my favorite healthy vegan brands like Miyoko's Kitchen butter/cheeses and Sami's Bakery breads/rolls/lavash. The people working here are extraordinarily nice and helpful. Yes, they even carry your groceries to your car!
I've been shopping regularly at MOM's for several years. While I can get some of their products cheaper at other stores, in most cases, MOM's has the lowest prices on organic products and supplements. The staff is friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable on their products. Their sales and coupons they offer are also good. My only wish is that they had a hot foods section like Whole Foods. Otherwise, if you do need a quick bite to eat, you can find something at MOM's that suits you.
Between Baltimore and DC is a mini Whole Foods kind of place with a perfect selection of organic produce, dry goods, frozen foods and as the pic shows, (just a few of the) many prepared sandwiches and sealed dishes. If you're hungry and driving through or just need to stock up before hitting the next hotel, they're worth a stop.

I found Mom's on happycow. I think it is a very nice store. They even carried the groceries out 2 the car. It is 2 far away from me but I can't really say anything about location because it is serving a different community. Roots is closer 4 me and I will continue 2 shop there. It has almost all the same products as roots at about the same prices. It is a lot easier 2 eat vegan with products made with daiya "cheese" in it I especially love tofurky "cheese" pizza made with daiya vegan cheese. (All the vegan cheeses except daiya taste really bad)
I have shopped Moms since it opened about 2005. It is well stocked with organic foods - sun dried tomatoes, canned cherries, etc and array of organic vegetables. Has a nice cold case with Suneen sandwiches. They dropped Wildwood Probiot soy milk, need qt size Wildwood creamer, has Zen soymilk. Store has a nice aroma and bright pleasant appearance. Employees are always friendly.
They have a huge variety of Organic, Vegan, and Vegetarian items. I find a lot of hard to find ingredients in here for at home recipes. Make MOM's a must see.
Perfect size, friendly staff, wide variety of organic/vegan products. Huge aisle of personal care/houseware items, a juice bar, large frozen pre-made sandwich section, a lot of grocery aisles. Lower prices
