Heaven for taste buds

Everything is vegan and 5stars! Potica and potica cookies are real heaven for taste buds, double chocolate cake was really the best cake ever, forest fruit pie was beyond any other pies,.. They offer so many different products it is hard to decide what to try. I'll be back for more before I leave Ljubljana💗 #Veganuary

the paradise

A large selection of savory and sweet baked goods for a good price. Everything I tried was very tasty. The sweet balls and the cakepop were the best.

Amazing 100% vegan bakery

It’s now 100% vegan when we went in July 23 and it’s delicious. I was so happy to try vegan Burek and wanted to take everything!

Loads of vegan goodies

This little father and daughter run bakery started doing vegan cakes and savouries when the daughter became lacto intolerant. After getting so much encoragement from local vegans and ignoring the occasional idiot who complained almost 70% of the stuff they sell is vegan. Thta includes classic Slovene cream cakes and chocolate croissants.
True there is a lot of sugar invoved but this place is adelight, I'll be back.

Pros: Loads of vegan cakes and savouries, Friendly English speaking staff, Not too expensive and good sized portions.

Cons: The drinks selection is poor.

Now all vegan😄with unique burek options, croissants and scrumptious cakes. Well worth going to. There is a side road just after the bakery that always has space to park in. Still not a very good selection of drinks though!

JUST WOW

This was honestly the best bakery we have been to (even pre-vegan). The owner was probably the nicest man we have met since being in Slovenia. We ordered lots of items and when we were going to leave we told him how excited we were to FINALLY find a vegan kremsnita cake after searching our entire trip. After we paid and talked for a while he started shoving more and more different items to try in our box. Honestly one of the best experiences since being here just talking to him! If you can, you must swing by and try everything you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: Too many vegan options , Friendly owner , Delicious!

Amazing

We found this little bakery on happy cow and expected one or two options. There were so many options we couldn't deside and bought more then we can eat at once, everything is just perfect. You can try traditional slowenian dishes and stuff you always see other people eat but you can never try. We really recommend trying it!

Pros: Almost everything is vegan, Good price, Traditional sweets

Love it

They have so many delicious vegan options with some traditional sweets. I can't go past that place without walking out with a chocolate donut.

The staff is really friendly and warm.

If yall tourists want to know the story about this place:
One cold day of february at national Pust festival time, vegan chain Loving hut was offering vegan donuts. Everyone was wondering who was making them. Once we discovered it was this bakery, vegans from all across Slovenia started going nuts about the bakery and buying way too many vegan donuts. Koper (the seaside region), Kranj (the alpine region), Maribor (the northeast region) and Novo Mesto (the southeast region), every vegan in Slovenia was eating their donuts. All four regions running to Ljubljana to get their friends and family some vegan donuts. So since then they launched vegan burek, vegan cookies, more donuts, slovenian flancati, vegan potica, pies and cakes, even vegan Bled cream cake, Over Mura Moving Cake ("prekmurska gibanica" - national dessert from prekmurska region, don't ask me what the hell the name is because its a national inside joke), "potratna potica" (word to word translation: wasteful potica).

Absolutely incredible!

The bakery is a bit out of the centre but worth a visit! The vegan selection is very large and the owner is happy to explain in detail how the baked goods are made. And everything we tried in the last three days (we were there every day) was absolutely delicious! 5 stars!

Very affordable bakery with many options

I tried their vegan donuts and they were great. The tofu “cheese” burek was very good too. They also have a vegan Kremsnita and many other options including cakes. Very affordable. The bakery is about a 20-25 minute walk from the center (Preseren square), but easily accessible with bus line 6.

I have to enter the bakery every time I walk by

A nice family owned bakery, I think they have the biggest amount of vegan options in the whole country. Delicious, affordable. Apple pie, doughnuts, pizza, burek (spunach, “cheese”), cream-cake (the typical kremšnita cake), walnut rolls, you name it, they have it.

Pros: A million options, Affordable, Delicious

Cons: The location is not ideal, worth to visit though

Delicious vegan sweets

Small family owned bakery. They have many sweet (donuts, baklavas, cookies, cakes, cream cake, and many more) and savory food. They keep adding new things. They offer few veganised traditional dishes (potica, cream cake, baklava). Everything is delicious, we always keep coming for more😄prices are very reasonable and portions/slices are big. I highly recommend.
I wish only that they would use less sugar.

Pros: Delicious sweets, Affordable, Big slices/portions

Cons: They could use less sugar

Old school bakery with many vegan options

A little old-school bakery with many veganized products that are market as vegan. They have sweet and savoy things, and they keep adding new things. They have many products I haven't eaten for years and I feel like child again. Unlike other vegan-labeled products their sweets and pastry are cheap /normal price for bakeries.

Pros: Many vegan options that is hard to get elsewhere.

Cons: I'm so excited I always buy too much 😂

Heaven!

What a little gem! You wouldn't suspect a bakery half filled with vegan goods outside of the city center. The staff was super friendly and I had a spinach burek and a krofe (it's like a German "Krapfen" which is almost impossible to get in a vegan version in Germany). Both tasted amazing!

A dream come true

We had the luck to stay in the neighborhood of this bakery for a whole week. We had their stuff every morning. They have sweet stuff (look at the photos!), but also savory things like pizza and borek. Beware of the almighty creme cake, pure sugar shock, soooo good. Recommended, go there if you're vegan and in Ljubljana.

Pros: Many veganized sweets you can't find anywhere else

Cons: Too much sugar 😁
