Double disappointment.

Came here after finding out the vegan place nextdoor was booked for the week. They have more vegan options than any omni place I’ve been in a while. Unfortunately, literally every option was awful. The smoothie tasted like rancid ice, the appetizers were dull and greasy, and food lacked all flavor and presentation. Service was the only thing that was ok here.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: All of them are awful.

Mixed experience

I was pleased to see this restaurant offer so many vegan menu items. First off, I would recommend not getting the vegan broccoli beef—it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t good. The spring roles were meh. And the volcano spare ribs were lit (literally, on fire)—fun in presentation and flavor. The staff were super hard working and very attentive, high marks for service.

TW there were live animals in tanks; probably no more cruel than the other animals served there but still it’s jarring when it’s right in your face.

Not good

We ate here after being denied at Tane Vega Izakaya. It was the most basic vital wheat gluten mock chicken and the Spicy Garlic Chicken wasn't spicy at all. It didn't come with rice, we asked for some and it was so small. Disappointing.

Cons: Not creative , Basic

Satisfying

We ordered delivery to our room (Uber Eats). The supreme greens were really light and delicious. The garlic chicken was mild and garlicky, and my husband enjoyed the curried noodles (contains egg). The flavors were subtle (I wouldn’t say bland, just not super rich) but delicious and everything was very fresh!

Not Impressed

Food was covered in so much oil and very bland. Save yourself the disappointment and find another option.

wasn't too good

It took a long time to get seated/served. Then it took a while for the food and it wasn't very flavorful and I didn't really care for the mock chicken. They took off my item without a problem and offered me something else but we had been there for about an hour and just wanted to get going.

Food for both vegetarians and omnivores

I went with my family and they enjoyed their meals. I was asking the waitress some questions about the food and dishes without egg, and she didn't help at all. Kind of disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it for vegans... Pretty sure what I ended up with was a dish with egg noodles since the waitress didn't really help :-(

Great mock-meat menu

Full assortment of mock-meat dishes. There is something a little weird about the almost too convincing 'fish' and 'shrimp' dishes so this may not be for everyone. The best item on the menu is the 'Volcano' which includes imitation pork in a spicy sauce. It is also brought to your table on Fire!! This is probably the best mock-meat veg restaurant in Honolulu.
Very nice dining room. Its a little surprising given the neighborhood. Usually plenty of parking.

Pros: Veg Menu, Mock meat products

Cons: Expensive, Mock meat heavy
