Great food - Edit
The food definitely gets 5 stars. You can also sit inside with an air conditioner so you are not freezing or sweating outside.

Saisonales, ausgefallenes Essen - Edit
Gemütliche Atmosphäre, netter Service, ausgefallene und leckere Gerichte. Die Zutaten sind regional und saisonal, deshalb ändert sich die Speisekarte regelmäßig. Die Portionen sind etwas klein und teuer.

Good food - Edit
The dishes were not quite there. The homemade focaccia was a bit dry and the ‘stuffed with heaven’ was salty. The owner was very friendly and the dishes looked really nice but room for improvement.

Imaginative and very tasty - Edit
Gorgeous-looking, clean and roomy vegan restaurant serving delicious, imaginative food - and we couldn’t tell that the dishes here are gluten-free because they’ve managed to make each dish very satisfying (at least, the ones we had). Service was great, the waiter spoke English and described each dish in detail. We started with the pumpkin tacos (which I forgot to photo), which were brimming with lots of interesting, delicious flavours, then my husband had the spaghetti with jackfruit which he loved - and didn’t realise (until I told him) that it was gluten-free pasta. I chose the jacket sweet potato with curried chickpeas and cauliflower - the sweetness of the potato married very well with the slightly spicy bitterness of the sauce - absolutely perfect! Then we shared the lemon cheesecake which was very nice too, followed by a good quality coffee (there’s a choice of soya, coco or oat milk if you don’t want it black).

Lovely fresh tasting food - Edit
We came here based on a friends recommendation. The staff explained all the produce was from local farms and the place is entirely vegan. I think it offered gluten free too.
Read moreYou could really taste the freshness in the food and was refreshing for a place not to rely on processed fake meats or cheeses (don’t get me wrong, I like those but it is what I come across more often in the UK). We shared the sushi spring rolls to start which were lovely and fresh tasting, on a deliciously salty peanut sauce. I then had the spaghetti for the main which for me ticked both boxes of being comfort food and healthy tasting. My partner ordered the stuffed baked potato (called something like stuffed with heaven?) which came with a really tasty cashew sour cream.
Pros: Fresh food, Local food, Friendly service
Cons: Slight pricey but ok as it’s all local!

No idea where these 5-star reviews come from, I really want to like this place but the food was dry, too salty, not fresh, just not enjoyed the experience. Food comes out very quickly, too quick imo…

This is one of the best places I've eaten in a while. Love that as a vegan coeliac who prefers to eat sugar free, I could eat everything here. Will definitely come back

Best Vegan food in Malaga - Edit
After three other „vegan“ restaurants with so- so food and comparable prices. I called Mimo thirty minutes before we wanted to eat. They were totally booked but said they would seat us at the bar. The food was amazing, fresh, nice combinations of flavours. The staff was friendly and engaging. We only wished we had discovered them four days ago.

sugar free concept!! - Edit
The restaurant is not only vegan and organic but also sugar free!! The staff is very attentive, friendly and competent. Plus they seem to be relaxed which is (understandably) rare in gastronomy. I also loved the interior design with all the plants and paintings. It truly was a unique experience to dine here ! (twice, I came back with a friend 😌)

Gluten free beer !!! And great food - Edit
My partner and I stopped in during the August festival and were surprised they were quiet. My partner ordered the raw lasagna - he is not vegan and his family is Italian, so when the waiter said it would be raw, we were concerned he would not like it. But he absolutely loved it. I ordered the chili sin carne, which was beautiful. My partner described the food as the first vegan restaurant he has gone to that has shown him the flavour opportunities of veganism. Big up Mimo!!

Very warm welcome and description of the restaurant ethos, based on seasonal and local organic produce. Nice menu, lots of options, delicious sounding puddings.

Best place in Malaga - Edit
This place is such a rare find for Spain! It’s organic, gluten free and free from most refined stuff. Staff is knowledgeable and keen to answer questions about the ingredients. Had a raw lasagna for main which was one of the better I’ve had! Great consistency on zucchini and tomatoes plus nice cheeses. Thought the basil pesto was a bit too strong, but love that they make it from avocado (like me! 😇). Sadly (my one main complaint) they didn’t have a dessert only sweetened naturally, so I had a starter for dessert: the sushi spring rolls. They were made with white rice which was disappointing they were already pre-made which made it impossible to order without raw cabbage (which I find difficult to digest). A good idea though and the roasted strawberries were very interesting. Came the next day again and had the kashotto which was great. A bit too much dill foam though, would have preferred more of the pumpkin. Still a great choice though, the mushroom was top notch. It’s too pricy, but since most other restaurants in Malaga sucks it’s still a go. Definitely recommend!
